Chapter 15

Carlos petted Dude's fur as he looked at Jay. Jay ran around the field, trying to run off all the candy and pratice for the game tomorrow. Carlos grabbed the bottle of water then handed it to Jay. Jay laid on the grass, huffing and puffing as Carlos smiled down at him. Carlos wiped off the sweat from Jay's forehead then poured some water in Jay's mouth.

"Tell me why you won't pratice with me, again?" Jay gasped.

Carlos placed a wet towel on Jay's forehead, "I'm either going to have a sprain ankle or I'll have some kind of puppy sickness."

"It's not fun when I don't get to play with you. Come on, I love seeing your dazed look when a butterfly flies by your head."

"How do you notice that? You're busy playing the game with Ben."
Jay smiled, "Carlos, I pay attention to you a lot. Besides we're a team, Ben says that you're a good player just like me."
"I think I still might sprain my ankle last minute."

Jay laughed as he reached out to touch Carlos' face. Carlos blushed but didn't move away. He just put his hand over Jay's and gave him a wide smile. Jay leaned up to kiss him but Carlos turned away. Jay laughed as he kissed Carlos' cheek.

"Why did you turn away?" Jay asked.

"You're sweaty and need a shower." Carlos said.

"Oh wow, so I can't kiss you because I'm sweating?"

"I don't want sweat kisses. That's not my dream."

"But it's my kisses, Gorgeous."

"Still sweaty."

Jay rolled his eyes and stood up. He held his hand out for Carlos, he helped him up and they laced their fingers together. They walked to their dorm and Jay grabbed his towel. Jay smiled, gave Carlos a kiss on the forehead then walked to the shower. Carlos smiled as he grabbed the controller and put in his favorite disk. Carlos grabbed his candy from yesterday and started the game.

A knock on the door made Carlos groaned. He paused his game then walked to the door. He pop a chocolate in his mouth as he opened the door. He choked on the piece of candy when Doug smiled at him. Carlos hit his chest as he gave Doug a weak nod.

"Hi. What are you doing here?" Carlos asked.

"I was cleaning my room so Evie can put her dresses in and I found this. I figured you wanted it back." Doug said as he handed him a jacket.

"It's Jay's." Carlos mumbled. "Thanks."

"No problem, also I wanted to ask you something."

"Yeah?"

"My favorite band is playing down town, and I wanted to know if you wanna go with me."

Carlos face turned red, "What about Evie?"

"Her and Mal are having a girl's weekend. You can bring Jay if you want, Ben, Lonnie, and Jane are coming.. More the better."

Carlos smiled, "We'll totally be there."

"Great! I'll text you the address." Doug said as he walked away.

Carlos closed the door, his face still burning and he pressed his forehead against the door. Carlos started to bang his head against the door and mumbled colorful words. Carlos hated how he still got butterflies around Doug, he doesn't want feelings for Doug. Carlos finally has his Jay. He went to bang his head one more time but a hand stopped him. Carlos opened his eyes and a tan hand laid acrosd the door. He turned around to see Jay frowning. Carlos gave him a weak smile but dropped it when Jay looked away. Carlos looked down, then hugged Jay. Jay hugged him back.

"I overheard." Jay mumbled against Carlos' hair.

"We don't have to go. We can stay here." Carlos said.

Jay pulled away, "Carlos, do you like being with me?"

"I love being with you."

"You just don't like that I hate dogs."

"I hate that."

Jay frowned but Carlos smiled. He wrapped his arms around Jay's neck. Jay raised his eyebrow but wrapped his arms around Carlos' waist. Carlos pulled him close, Jay face turn red as Carlos kissed his cheek. Carlos giggled as Jay started to pepper Carlos' face with kisses. Jay smiled as Carlos laughs filled the room. Jay cupped Carlos' face then kissed him on the lips.

Jay pulled apart, "Maybe you can help me like dogs."

"You already like me, don't you?" Carlos asked.

"No, I love you."

Carlos blushed, "If I help you like dogs then you have to do something with me."

"Anything."

"Doug invited us to this concert, I wanna go with you."

"With me?"

"Yes Jay, with you. I get to be with you all night you know dancing, food and hanging with friends."

Jay smiled, "I'm down. As long I'm by your side all night."

Carlos smiled and kissed Jay. Jay smiled in the kiss, then whined when Carlos pulled away. Carlos tangled his hands in Jay's hair.

"I wouldn't want it any other way." Carlos said.

Jay pressed their foreheads together, he went for another kiss but Dude bark. Carlos pulled away and gasped as he saw Dude pushing the controller to him. Carlos grabbed Jay's head to lead him to the couch. Carlos thanked Dude as he tossed him a treat. Jay smiled as Carlos sat between his legs and wrapped his arms around Carlos' waist.

"I have to beat this level, so don't distract me." Carlos warned.

"I'll try not too." Jay said as he kissed Carlos' neck.

Carlos elbowed him but smiled. He clicked play as he started to play the game, Jay laughed and started to distract him. Either way the couple had a fun time just being wrapped in each other arms.
