Chapter 11

Carlos jumped off the bed and heard his phone going off. Running to it he saw Evie texted him, he smiled and ldooked behind him. He saw Jay wasn't in his bed, which made Carlos upset. He made plans for the movie today not Carlos, then he ditches him! Carlos blood boiled, making him scream out his anger.

He unlocked his phone and clicked on Evie's message. Carlos smiled feeling a little better because he knows that Evie cares about him.

Carlos, thanks for inviting Doug. He needs some guy friends

Carlos smiled and texted her back, but the door opened. He looked up and saw Jay holding onto two trays and smiling at the blonde. Carlos gulped and sat on the bed, looking at him. Jay put both trays on the table and clapped his hands.

"I got your favorite," Jay said as Carlos shrugged his shoulders. "And I even got something for Dude."

"You got something for Dude?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah, it's like an apology."

"For what?"

"For being a jerk, Carlos I'm sorry. It's just been crazy."

"It hasn't been crazy just for Jay, you know?"

"I know, trust me, but I'm hurt that you didn't tell me! Haven't we been there for each other since forever?" Jay asked as Carlos frowned.

"Are you kidding me! Jay in case you haven't notice, you've been ignoring me! Ever since you figured out that I can do this whole dog shapeshifting, you won't talk to me!" Carlos yelled.

"I'm talking to you now." Jay said.

"And who told you to talk to me?" Carlos asked, making Jay gulped.

Carlos narrowed his eyes and stood up, he grabbed his bag. Shoving clothes inside the bag, waiting for Jay to say something. But Carlos didn't hear anything, all he heard Dude's breathing and his bag. He turned to look at Jay, who was staring at the table, Carlos frowned. He whistled for Dude and they walked out of the room.

Carlos walked out and groaned, he stomped to Doug's room. Knocking on the door, Doug opened it. Carlos blushed seeing the older boy wasn't wearing a shirt, he nodded and cleared his throat.

"Can I stay here? Just for a couple of nights." Carlos said as Doug raised his eyebrow.

"Is everything alright?" Doug asked.

"Totally, why you ask?"

"Because you brought Dude. Did Jay and you get in another fight?"

"Nope, just wanted to hang out with my friend. Is that cool?" Carlos asked as Doug smiled.

He opened the door and let Carlos inside. Carlos nodded seeing the walls was a dark blue, two beds was pushed together with red sheets covered in music notes. Music sheets covered the floor, his instruments was placed on the table and he had a space in the middle cleaned with a pair of shoes.

"I can push the beds away from each other." Doug said as he grabbed a shirt. "Sorry, people don't ask to stay with me."

"It's cool." Carlos replied.

"Nice, anyway, what time are we going to see the movie?" Doug asked as Carlos widened his eyes.

"Uh?" Carlos mumbled.

"Three." Jay said as Carlos turned around.

Jay stood at the the door, staring at Carlos. Doug nodded as he grabbed his clothes, not noticing the intense stare between Jay and Carlos. Carlos crossed his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes. Jay raised his eyebrow and walked in the room, Doug sighed as he looked at them.

"I'm gonna change," Doug said as Carlos looked at him. "Mind waiting outside for me?"

"Sure." Jay said as Carlos nodded.

Carlos and Jay walked out of the room, Carlos glared at the long hair boy. He huffed as he turned to face the other way. Jay sighed as he leaned against the wall, and looked down at his feet.

"You know when I asked for you to go to the movies with me, I wanted just us. Me and you." Jay said.

"Why? So you can ignore me during the whole film?" Carlos asked.

"Carlos! Could you just stop being petty for one second?" Jay exclaimed.

"Now I am being petty? Well I wonder why you stuck by my side for so long? Was its because of Evie! Or did Mal threatened you?!" Carlos asked.

"No! None of that stuff." Jay said as Carlos opened his mouth but Doug opened the door.

"You guys are ready? Because there's a new movie out, which seems-" Doug stopped as he saw the two teens glaring at each other.

"You guys are alright?" Doug asked as Carlos turned towards him.

"Yup! Now what movie do you wanna see?" Carlos asked as he grabbed his arm.

Jay grumbled as he followed the two teen boys, knowing how awkward it was going to be.
