Chapter 6

Carlos sat down on the desk, with Jane fussing over the spellbooks. He raised his eyebrow towards her, and she began to pull at her short brown hair. Carlos frowned, then he walked towards her, grabbing her hands.

"Carlos?" Jane asked as Carlos shook his head.

"Don't worry, Jane! I like being part dog, and it's awesome talking with Dude! Did you know that he had a potty mouth?" He asked as Jane gave him a small laugh.

"I promised that I would figure this out."

"Yeah, you did. But does it have to be right away?"

"Kinda, I mean if my mom knows that I did this. Then she would ground me for life! That's like whenever Mulan ran away, sure she did come home, but she was grounded for three years!" 

"Woah, Mulan got grounded?"

"Yes, but it work out in the end. Shang finally proved that Mulan was trust worthy, but that's besides the point!" 

"Look Jane, you don't have to rush this! Besides I like being a dog hyrbid thingy! Do you know how much fun it is to pee on a tree!" Carlos asked with a gleam in his eyes, as Jane sighed and shook her head.

"Super fun! I mean it was like thillering as Jafar becoming a genie!" He said as Jance grimanced.

"Wasn't he locked away in a small lamp?" She asked as Carlos tapped his chin.

"Yes! But Mal's mom, you know the one with the horns, very scary mama! Anyways she changed him back into a human, but he used to tell Jay and me awesome stories about the masters he had, and tricked them!" Carlos said, as he smiled thinking back with the story times with Jay.

He remembered all the times Jay would cover his face, and beg his dad to move on from the genie life. But Carlos loved the gleam in Jay eyes, from hearing his father being happy about something. It was like whenever he found something he liked, and whenever he played with the team. 

Carlos blushed seeing Jane raising her eyebrow towards him. He chuckled and back up, rubbing the nape of his neck. He took in a deep breath before shaking hands in front of Jane.

"We'll ask Mal tonight, like after the game! I mean she will know what to do, and once you guys figured out how to solve this problem. She can teach out, and I can beg to become a dog again!" Carlos said as he tossed his fist in the air.

"So what's the whole point of changing you back, then?" Jane asked.

"To give you pratice!" He said as he patted Jane's head. Carlos turned towards the clock, and screamed.

Jane jumped back as Carlos grabbed his jacket and bag, and turned towards the clock again. Another scream left his mouth, as he waved towards Jane and ran out the room screaming.

"Oh Carlos." Jane muttered.

Carlos ran into the field screaming, which made everyone looked towards him. He waved his hands in the air, as Jay pulled off his helmet and saw the blonde was running towards him. He dropped his stick and caught Carlos, who screamed in his air, and began to talk fast about being late.

Jay rolled his eyes before bringing him to the bench, and sat him down. He start putting on his shoes, since he already had his shorts on. Jay slipped the jersey over his white tanktop, and finally put his hand over his mouth, which made Carlos blushed as he looked up towards him.

"One, we knew that you was going to be late, Jane called ahead of time. Saying that it was about some kind of school project, which is bull because you don't do partner projects, but I didn't tell the coach that. Second, you didn't have to scream all the way towards the field, we heard you from the front doors. Thirdly, stop licking my hand, I'm not done talking!" Jay exclaimed as Carlos crossed his arms over his chest.

Jay finally took his hand off, and Carlos stuck out his tongue towards the brunette. The blonde finally put his shoe on Jay's knee, and the brunette looked down and saw that the shoe laces wasn't tied. He rolled his eyes and tied them, as Carlos grumbled under his breath.

"Did you know that Mulan was grounded?" Carlos asked, as Jay snorted and raised his eyebrow towards the blonde.

"That badass was grounded?" He asked as Carlos huffed.

"Yes, and why do you call her a badass?"

"Because she basically saved China by herself!"

"Well I saved you tons of times!"

"Awe, is someone jealous?"

"Never."

"Carlos, please don't lie to me. You start to wrinkle your forehead together." 

"Then," Carlos stood up, looking towards Ben. "Holy Hera, you have chocolate!" Carlos yelled as he ran toawrds Ben, falling in the process.

Jay laughed as he put his hand on his hip. Smiling towards his friend, but he narrowed his eyes towards his hair. Seeing a pair of golden ears poking out, he opened his mouth to say something but the coach blew his whistle.
