Brieanna and Gwen where excited as they sat for the morning meal. Gwen positioned herself next to Haakon. "You look awful!" Gwen said smiling at her brother.
"He drank a little too much last night," Inga whispered.
"I had trouble sleeping," Haakon said. "What was all that thumping coming from you room this morning?"
"I was jumping on the bed with Brie."
"We were practicing throws, sorry we woke you," Brieanna said.
"The singing from the sauna, was that you too?"
"Yes, sorry," Gwen said.
"Don't be. I enjoyed the singing." Gwen smiled brightly as he spoke and hugged him.
"I like the way it echoes in the sauna," Gwen added.
"Does your head hurt?" Brieanna asked concerned.
"It's pounding, yes."
"Give me your hand."
"Why?"
"So I can throw you!" Brieanna teased. "Just give me your hand." Haakon reached over Gwen and Brieanna took his hand in left hand. Then with her right hand she pinched the webbing between his thumb and first finger."
"What was that about?"
"How's your headache now?"
"It's gone! How?"
"It's just a little witchy thing Abigail taught me," Brieanna replied smiling.
"Thank you."
"What are you two planning today?" Harald asked.
"Brieanna's taking me to the Faroe islands. We will be home for the evening meal tomorrow."
"You two have been doing a lot of traveling," Harald said.
"Do you miss me Daddy?"
"You know I do Gwen." Gwen rose from the table and stood behind her father and put her arm around his shoulder and her head next to his.
"I love you Dad."
"And I you baby girl."
"I'm fifteen dad!"
"I know." Inga seeing the tears in Harald's eyes took his hand in hers under the table. He looked into Inga's eyes and smiled at her, no words necessary to express the grief they shared.
"Gwen, I would like to spend a little time with you. Let's ride horses together when you get back."
"I would love that, can Brie come too?" Brieanna began to shake her head no.
"I insist," Haakon said, "I would loath to break up the pair of you two."
"We're the mischief sisters!" Gwen added laughing.
They were flying cloaked over the North Sea, "Why did you want to take this route little one?" Dreki asked.
"I wanted to see Sam," Brieanna whispered. "You should have told me." The dragon passed through the frozen void and flew low over the slow moving trading vessel. "How did you find them?"
"Loki, I can smell him from great distances."
"They are way off course," Brieanna whispered.
"A storm blew them off, they most likely ran from the storm."
