We got back together
It was happy for a while
We embraced each other
Not wanting to be apart a mile
We were content
At least thats what i thought
Until i learned you werent
Now its cold but once it was hot
Thinking back to those days
It seemed that we were okay
Confusing as a maze
I should listen to what they say
Maybe i should really forget
But im so hung up on you
What i dont get
Is why you said you love me too
You left me hanging
Holding on to a thread
Foolishly thinking
Youll come back and in shame i bow my head
Why did you come back
Only to leave again?
You have that annoying knack
Of making me fall again and again
Im tired of this
I just want us to be okay
I miss your kiss
Every single day
And i just wanna feel
Your warm embrace
I would gladly kneel
Just to see your face
But no i still have respect
For myself cause this aint right
What do you expect
Ill come begging with all my might?
Those days are over
I may not be over you
