Bored out of my mind
I tried and messaged a group
I've seen you there before
Not really noticing you
Then you happened to reply
And struck a conversation
For the first time that day
I smiled with amusement
Back and forth with banter
Convincing one another
Of pros and cons
Of being together
Never really gave much thought
Whenever I reply
Just trying to reason out
A challenge like you
It never crossed my mind
To think I'll be close to you
Didn't think it possible
To be missing you
You make me laugh and smile
For no apparent reason
But that's enough for me
As long as I have you
Such a good friend you are
Cheering me up
I apologize sincerely
For being difficult
I know that I'm not always nice
And say things that aren't good
But still you understand
And keep your cool
Thank you so much
For being there
I haven't known you for long
But still you matter to me
We have our own problems
I have mine and you, yours
I hope you know in yourself
I'm here to lend a helping hand
I'll try to be a good friend
As much as I can
I just hope you'll bear with me
Even even when I get moody
I'm here if you need me
Here to listen and give advice
Just tell me, I'll gladly help
Or at least, I will try
