Story line with the Shield

1 week later.....

Mackenzie's POV:

It's been a week now and I have made no progress with my memory. I really want to know what I was like before my accident. I decided to watch the match where I was attacked to see if I could see anything that would jog my memory. 

I watched the match and saw what happened. Summer Rae and Eva Marie hit me on the head with a steel chair. That's just bullshit. Those bitches. Then the authority came out and tried to attack me until the Shield came out and saved me. The authority managed to somehow beat the Shield up until Sting came out. 

I gasped remembering myself thinking why he came out. After he helped the Shield, I was whacked on the head again with the chair before blacking out. Then I saw how Colby rushed over to me trying to wake me up. He looked like he was crying. Why was he so concerned about me? Something must have happened between him and I that he was so upset. I saw he was holding my hand as I was being placed into the stretcher. 

" Mackenzie, you have an interview with Renee in the ring in five minutes. " said a crew member.

" OK, I'll be right there. " I said, getting up. 

I walked to the gorilla and waited for my music to play as I walked to the ring.

Colby's POV:

I was at the hotel with Jon and Joe. We weren't needed at the arena so we stayed behind. I was sitting on the bed, lost in my thoughts about Mackenzie. Jon and Joe were both sitting next to me watching RAW.

 I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Mackenzie's music. She was walking down the ramp and into the ring for an interview with Renee. 

" Urrrrr Renee. " said Jon, sounding disgusted. 

" Dude you ok? Do you want me to change it? " Joe asked me. 

" No it's fine. " I said. 

" Welcome back Skylar. A couple weeks ago, you were attacked by Summer Rae and Eva Marie. Then the authority got involved, then the Sheild saved you and then Sting. What do you think about that? " asked Renee. 

" Honestly, I don't remember everything that happened that day. Summer and Eva caused me to lose my memory. I don't remember my relationship with the Sheild and I don't know why Sting was there. " Mackenzie replied. 

" What are you going to do now? " asked Renee. 

" Well, I am not medically cleared to wrestle because of my memory but when I regain my memory, I make a promise right now that I will get Summer and Eva if it's the last thing I do. " she said. 

" That's my girl." I said. 

" I'm assuming you will have your boyfriend with you too to help you recover? " asked Renee as the crowd cheered. 

My eyes widened. She isn't meant to know anything that could stress her out. I looked at Joe and Jon. 

" I thought she wasn't supposed to know. " said Joe. 

" She isn't. " I said. 

" What are you talking about? " asked Mackenzie. 

The crowd started chanting 'Rollins, Rollins'. Mackenzie looked at them with a confused look on her face as tears fell down my face.

A crew member climbed into the ring and whispered something to Renee. 

" Oh sorry, scratch that. " she said. 

" Yeah, cause I don't have a boyfriend. " said Mackenzie. 

That made my heart brake. I know it's not her fault that she doesn't remember but her saying that hurts me. I let out loud sobs. 

" Dude, you ok? " asked Jon. 

" I better change it. " said Joe as he changed the channel. 

" Colbs, come here. " said Jon as he pulled me into a hug. I sobbed into his shoulder. 

2 hours later.....

I was still in the hotel room with the guys when Joe's phone rang. 

" Hello. " he said. 

*Pause*

" Hey Hunter, what's up? " he asked. 

*Pause*

" Yeah. " he said. 

*Long pause*

" Ok we'll be right there. " he said hanging up. 

" What happened? " asked Jon. 

" Hunter and Steph need to talk to us about our new story line. " he explained. " Are you sure you're ok to got to the arena? " he asked me. " I don't want you getting upset if you see Mac. " 

" I'll be fine. Let's go. " I said.

We made it to the arena and we were on our way to Hunter's office. On the way, I saw Mackenzie talking to Nikki Bella. Nikki saw me and sent my a sympathetic smile. I just carried on walking until we all reached the office. We all walked inside and sat down. 

" Glad to see you boys here. Sorry, we called you in on your day off. " said Hunter. 

" It's fine, what do you need? " asked Jon.  

" We're just waiting for one more person. " said Hunter. " Now Colby, I just wanted to make sure you will be ok with this girl because- " 

He was interrupted by a knock on the door.  

" Come in. " he said. 

The door came in and my eyes widened when I saw Mackenzie walk in. 

" I'm so sorry Hunter. I was talking to Nikki and I lost track of time. " she said. 

My heart was pounding and my breathing became really heavy. Both Joe and Jon looked at me. 

" You ok? " asked Joe. 

I nodded. Mackenzie turned and saw us. 

" Oh hey guys. " she said smiling. 

" Hi. " said Joe and Jon. I just sat there staring at her. 

" Please take a seat Mackenzie." said Hunter. 

She looked around and the only available seat was next to me. She came over and sat next to me. I tensed up. Hunter looked at me and mouthed, " You need to step outside? " 

I shook my head and Hunter began talking. 

" We were planning on adding Mackenzie to The Shield. " he said. 

My eyes widened. I don't know if I can take that. He finished talking and everyone looked at me except Mackenzie. 

" Ok the meeting is over. You can leave. " he said. 

I jumped from my seat and ran out the door. I needed some air.
