Being Separated and Truth or Dare

One week later....

Mackenzie's POV:

It's about three weeks until mine and Colby's first anniversary. I was really excited. I bought him a present I knew he would love. I've noticed Colby has been on the phone a lot. I just figured he's planning something for our anniversary. 

"Babe, you got a second??" I heard. 

"Yeah, one second, Love." I grabbed my smoothie from the kitchen and went into the living room, sitting down next to Colby on the couch. "What's up??"

"Well first.......can I have some??" he asked, pointing to my smoothie. 

"Only if you say please, Mr Lopez."

"Pleeeeesssseeeee." he said, making me laugh. 

"Okay, you big baby." I said, letting him have a sip. 

"Anyways, I just wanted to say that I'm gonna be away for a few days. I got some business to attend to."

"What kind of business??"

"Hunter wants me to do something regarding NXT so I won't be here for a few days."

"Awww, I'm gonna miss you. Do you know roughly how many days??"

"Around two to three days. It won't be that long." 

"It won't be on our anniversary, will it??" 

"No, no, definitely not. I'm actually leaving tomorrow." 

"Okay." I said, sipping my smoothie. 

"Ha, you have a smoothie mustache." Colby laughed. "Let me help you clean it off."

He brought his lips to mine, licking off all the smoothie. I giggled as I put my smoothie down. He pulled away and starting tickling me. I couldn't stop laughing. I was terribly ticklish. 

"Stop......oh my god." I laughed. 

He blew my belly button, making me squeal.

The next day..... 

At the airport

I gave Colby one more hug before he had to leave for his flight to Florida. I was upset he was leaving. This was the first time we were going to be separated. I didn't know if I would be able to cope without him. 

"Hey, hey, hey, what's the matter??" he asked, cupping my cheek. 

"Nothing, I'm just gonna miss you. I don't want you to go."

"I'll only be gone two days Hun."

"I know. It's just that this is the first time we're going to be separated. I'm not used to it. I'm gonna be alone."

"You won't be alone. Joe and Jon will be with you. You got your friends as well." 

"It just won't be the same though. I won't be able to wake up next to you and see your lions mane." I said, stroking his hair.

"I'll FaceTime you every morning. You can wake me up every morning and I'll kiss you goodnight."

"Okay."

'Flight 253 to Florida. Please proceed to gate 23.'

"I better get going. I'll miss you."

"I miss you too Love."

He gave me one last kiss before picking up his luggage. 

"Have a safe flight." I said. 

"I will, I'll call you when I land."

At the hotel

I felt boredom overtake me. I had nothing to do. Usually, I would be cuddling with Colby but he's not here. I decided to head to Joe and Jon's room. When I got there, Jon and Joe welcomed me and we all  hung around but I was really missing Colby. I would most likely suck at long distance relationships if I was ever in one. 

"Mac, are you okay??"Jon asked me.

"I don't know. I miss Colby. It's not the same without him." I said, resting my head on his shoulder. 

"Don't worry. It'll all be worth it in the end." Joe said. 

"How about we play a game of truth or dare??" Jon suggested. 

"I'm down. What about you??" Joe asked me.

"I'm alright with that. I'm starting. Jon, truth or dare??"

"Dare." 

"Okay, I dare you to go to the Bella's hotel room and ask them to make out with you."

"Easy." 

We all got up and Jon went down the corridor to their room whilst Joe and I hid behind the door, watching. Jon knocked and the door opened. 

"Hey Bellas. How would you girls like to make out with me??" 

Then they both slapped him, making me and Joe snigger. He came back, holding both his cheeks. 

"Okay.....let's play a different game." he said, making Joe and I burst out laughing.
