The next morning.....

Mackenzie's POV:

I woke up the next morning with a huge smile on my face. Today was the day I was the most excited about for a long time. I looked to my side and saw Colby wasn't next to me. I was a little confused. Where did he go??

"Good morning my little sunshine." I heard. I looked up and saw Colby with a tray full of breakfast foods.

"Morning. I was wondering where you were."

"I was making breakfast for us."

He sat down next to me, putting the tray in between us.

"Happy anniversary." he said, making me smile.

"Happy anniversary to you to. This is so sweet. Thank you so much."

"This is nothing compared to the surprise I have planned for you."

"Oh really??" I asked.

"Yes really."

He gave me a kiss before we both tucked in to our breakfast.

Colby's POV:

"Are you ready??"

"Yes, but I'm super nervous." I texted Joe back.

"It is a little nerve racking but it'll all be worth it in the end."

"I know. I just want everything to go smoothly."

"It will, and to make sure nothing nothing ruins your night, Jon and I will be there to make sure nobody turns up."

"Thanks."

"So, when are you going on the date to 'pop the question'?"

"In the evening. You're making it seem like it's going to be so intense."

"It probably will be. It was when I proposed to Galina."

"And you probably will be when you do the same thing to Kaitlyn. That is if you even talk to her, because you're so scared."

"Who says I haven't talked to her??"

"Wait??!! You guys have been talking??"

"I guess you could say that."

"Awww, my little boy is all grown up. I wanna pat your little head."

"Shut up. Why don't you pat Jon's instead?? I saw him talking to Paige yesterday."

"Awww, he's so into her."

"I know. He was proper smiling. They were proper standing close to each other too."

"I never thought Jon would be so into a girl before."

"Me either. But I know Jon will be the last one to get married."

"Yeah. I always thought I would be the second one. You were kinda the first."

"I'd say you're the first one. I know your marriage wouldn't break like mine."

"Thanks Joe. Your marriage with Kaitlyn will last a long time. Make sure you keep a VIP section for me at your wedding."

"God, we've only just started talking and you're talking about marriage."
