Trying to get him/her out of my mind

Colby's POV: 

I woke up the next morning feeling like shit. I went to pick up my phone but it wasn't on the bedside table. Shit!! I left it in the other hotel room. I really hope Mackenzie isn't awake. I can't face her now. 

I got ready and walked to her room. I still had the key card so I opened to door and went inside. I looked to see the bed was neat and tidy. It hadn't been touched. I then saw Mackenzie on the floor sleeping. She slept all night on the floor?? I saw her cheeks were damp and her eyes were red. I could tell she had been crying. She had the selfie of us in her hand. I felt like crying again. I saw tears running down her face again as she muttered, " Please don't leave me. I...I love you. " 

A tear ran down my face as I picked her up bridal style and placed her on the bed. I grabbed my phone and left.

Mackenzie's POV: 

I woke up to see myself on the bed. I thought I fell asleep on the floor. I thought I'd see Colby by my side when I remembered yesterday. Tears were streaming down my face. I snapped out of my thoughts when my phone rang. 

Phone Convo

N-Hi Mac, how are you? 

M-I....I'm ok. W.....what about you? 

N-Are you ok?

M-I......I.......I'm fine. 

N-Mackenzie, what happened?

Then I broke down into tears. 

M-My life is ruined Nikki. I messed everything up. 

N-Hang on. Tell me your room number. I'll come with Brie and you can tell me everything. 

M-Room 365

N-Ok we're on our way. Bye.

M-Bye. 

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door. I opened it to see Nikki and Brie. 

" Oh my god Mackenzie, you look awful. " said Nikki as they walked in and sat on the couch.

" What happened Mac? " asked Brie. 

I told them everything that happened to me and Colby whilst crying. 

" Oh god. Tell you what. Let's go out and try to get your mind off him. " said Brie. 

" Ok. " I said.

Colby's POV:

I couldn't stop thinking about Mackenzie. Joe and Jon decided to take me to the fair to cheer me up. We went on the Ferris wheel but I remembered when Mackenzie and I went on it.

Mackenzie's POV:

The girls took me to the fair. We went on the Ferris wheel but I then remembed when I went on it with Colby. I looked out the carriage to see the view when I saw another carriage in front of ours. That's when I saw him. Colby was in there. I felt like bursting into tears. He looked my way and I saw him crying slightly. 

"Mackenzie are you alright? " asked Nikki. 

Then she saw Colby. 

" Oh maybe we should leave. I'm so sorry. Please don't cry. Are you ok? " she asked. 

" I'm fine. I just wanna go back to the hotel. " I said. 

" Ok. " I said. 

Colby's POV:

I looked out of our carriage and saw the one behind us. Mackenzie was in there. She looked like she was about to cry. I was about to cry too. I missed her so much but I don't think that we would get together again. Tears were running down my face. 

" Colby are you ok? " asked Joe.

Then he saw Mackenzie.   

" Oh no. I'm so sorry Colbs. Are you ok. " he asked. 

" I'm fine, don't worry. Can we just go back to the hotel? " I asked. 

" Yeah ok. " he said.
