Day 9

I usually never do this, but I need it. I'm coming in for an emergency appointment. This has never happened before. You win Dr. Andor, I have MPD. I admit it, okay?

I've never been aware of my other personalities, but now that I am, I can hear them. They speak to me, their handwriting is different, they have different personalities and appearances. I'm not sure how to handle them. I want to learn more about them, but I don't want to drive others away.

Especially Tom... Tom is so nice to me. He taught me how to use Twitch, and I even have my own fans. It's insane, and none of it would've ever happened without him... I just don't want to mess it up, I'm going to have to tell him soon.

This is too much.
-Jordan Maron

(P.S. Sorry for skipping some journal entries... I got distracted.)

I quickly gathered my things, running towards the door.

Buzz Buzz.

My phone rang in my pocket.

I quickly answered it, while rushing to my car.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jordan, it's Tom."

"Hey man, what's up?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight? We could play some games, maybe even stream if we wanted."

"Yeah, sounds good!"

"What are you doing right now?"

I froze. I couldn't tell him over the phone.

"Um, I'm just running to the store real quick... Ran out of orange juice."

"Oh, okay. Just text me when you're done, okay?"

"Alright, see ya then."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I scattered to hang up the phone.

ˡ'ᵃʳ

I rolled my eyes at my own thoughts.

Well, they aren't really my own thoughts, they're my other personalities' thoughts.

DAMN RIGHT

What do you want?

ʷʰʸ ᵃʳᵉ ʸºᵘ ᵍº'ⁿᵍ ᵗº ˢᵉᵉ ᵃⁿᵈºʳ? ʸºᵘ ᵈºⁿ'ᵗ ʰᵃᵛᵉ ᵃⁿ ᵃᵖᵖº'ⁿᵗᵐᵉⁿᵗ

I know. I just want to talk to him.

WHY

None of your business.

I sped to get to the office. I rushed inside, taking my journal with me.

"Mr. Maron, how are-"

"Hello," I quickly interrupted Martha, shoving past her.

"Hey!" I heard Steve call out. "What's the big idea-"

"Sorry!" I shouted, practically running towards Andor's office.

I barged through the door, finding Andor, quietly sitting behind his desk, looking through papers.

"Jordan?"

"Hi."

"Uh-Welcome, please come sit," Andor mumbled, trying to be professional.

I could feel sweat trickle down my forehead, my heart still racing from running so fast.

"I don't know what's going on," I said, slurring my words, chucking my journal into Andor's hands. "Read my latest entry."

He carefully sat down, reading my words from this morning. His brown eyes scanned over the page, his eyebrows furrowed as he tried to comprehend the sentences.

"So, you realize the voices aren't you?" Andor asked.

"Yes."

"And you think that's a bad thing?" Andor asked, chuckling.

"I don't understand..." I mumbled. "Of course it's a bad thing."

"No, Jordan, it's a great thing! It's a large step in your therapy," he celebrated. "You're absolutely right though, the best thing for you right now is to understand more about your other personalities..."

"Okay..."

"So, tell me about Sonja."
