*3 years later*

Cassie's POV

"Look, we haven't seen each other in three months, Wardy and Niall's engagement party's next week and Stef's getting married next month." Sarah explained as I sighed, resting the phone between my shoulder and ear. I bookmarked the page I was reading and set down my book before answering.

"Are you proposing that we catch up? Sarah, we're half way across the world; what do you expect us to do?" I asked.

Sarah sighed, as if I wasn't realizing the obvious. "Next week we'll all be in Melbourne right?"

"Yes, I suppose you're right. But I'm not staying long. Because I have to come back here to England and then back to Australia for Stef's wedding in a month." I explained. " Why couldn't they have just had the wedding here anyway? She lives in this country. But no. She has to have it over there because of her family. Well what about Louis' family? I know it was very generous of him to pay for their tickets, but why not England?"

"Because he let her decide where it was going to be held, and he chose when." Sarah stated. "And what do you mean "you can't stay long?" surely you could cancel your first flight back there and also the one back here and just take the last one home?" She suggested.

"No, really, I can't. I'm working part time as a university teacher and part time as a photographer for Vogue. I can't just skip it." I argued.

"You're a photographer for Vogue? Why didn't you say something about it earlier?" She paused and sighed. "How's the band going?"

"They're ok. They've been recording some stuff and I'm not allowed to know what it is, which is stupid, but all is well that ends well."

"So?" Sarah asked.

"So what?" I asked back.

"Are you going to stay the whole month or go back and forth and waste money?" The way she asked it really gave me no choice but to oblige and cancel two of my four booked flights.

"I'll think about it. See you in a week." And I hung up on her. Ok. I don't usually hang up on people. I never hang up on Sarah. But, there's a first time for everything.

After the boys had left for their North America tour, Sarah and Wardy stayed another week before leaving. After that Stef hung around a while. I moved into a small apartment in Doncaster before Zayn invited me to stay at his flat. Stef, I believe stayed at the boy's place for a while before ending up teaching Drama and English at a local school. Louis proposed on their two year anniversary when they'd taken a trip to Hawaii Maryanne went back to Australia not long after Wardy and Sarah, but we haven't heard from her as much anymore.

One Day everything just changed.
