 Wardy’s POV

I had butterflies last night when I was driving Stef and myself home, it wasn’t even the day of the engagement party. All the family was going to be there, only Niall’s immediate family, going back to his granny, aunties and uncles and cousins, had flown over here to celebrate. I knew next to nothing about what was happening, except where it was; even Niall knew more about it than me!

When we got home it was late and I was tired. The boys had the soccer on in the living room really loud, but I couldn’t be bothered telling them to turn it down, so I went to my room and did some reading. They didn’t turn it off until after midnight, and I still wasn’t asleep.

“Aren’t you tired?” Niall murmured coming into the room.

“Yes.” I replied. “But I couldn’t sleep because the t.v. was too loud.” I added.

Niall looked at me sheepishly before laughing. “You should have told us, we would have turned it down at least.”

I shook my head, eyes half closed. “Don’t worry about it,” I paused to yawn. “Goodnight.” I put my book down, turned over and fell asleep.

Stef’s POV

“Come on, get up. Gotta get ready for today.” Wardy knocked on the door to our room repeatedly.

“Shush. I’m trying to sleep here.” I called back.

I heard Louis chuckle before he wrapped an arm around my torso. “She sounds like you did on the day of our engagement party.”

“I doubt I sounded like that.” I noted.

“Oh but you did. You were ecstatic but you were rushing around even though you didn’t have to do anything.” He explained.

“Surely, I was not like that.” I mumbled, rolling over to face him.

“You were, no matter how much you deny it.”

“Get up. Or I’ll come in there. Actually, never mind. I wouldn’t do that. Argh. Just hurry up ok? We have less than seven hours. You pineapples.” And she stomped off.

“I suppose we should get up then?” I suggested.

“Good idea.” He agreed.

We’d eaten breakfast by ten, then Wardy was adamant that she was taking me shopping. “Come on, we have to go. When I was looking through your stuff, I didn’t see any clothes seemingly appropriate to go to an engagement party in. So we have to find you the perfect outfit.”

I sighed. “Does it have to be a dress?”

“Most likely, but it’s not necessary.” She explained. “Plus, you kind of owe it to me.”

“Why? What do I owe you?”

“Well, you’re kind of staying in my house, plus you’d only have to do this tiny little thing, because you’re staying in my house for roughly a month.” She looked at me with a smug smile. I had no choice but to agree.

“Fine. When are we going? And when did you look through my stuff?” I asked puzzled.

“We’re going now. And I looked through your “stuff” last night when you asked me to choose your outfit.” Again, it made complete sense. “See ya.” She waved off the boys as she went to get her bag from her room. I did the same.

Sarah’s POV

“I know it’s not our engagement party, but I got you something.” Josh revealed as he handed me a box.
