"Waaaaaah, I love Jeju!!!!!!" I screamed as soon as we settled our bags on the car.

Jiyong was smiling when we went inside the car. "I'm glad you liked it." Sinserong sabi niya bago sinimulang magpatakbo.

I couldn't stop the smile stretching on my lips as I stared at him. "Yah," tawag ko sa atensyon niya. I took his right hand and intertwined our fingers. I saw him smile and it made my heart race again. "Bakit mo naisipang mag-Jeju? And you didn't even tell me..." I pouted.

"Just because," he shrugged, "I've been wanting to have a vacation with you but our schedules don't permit it. Ngayon lang ako nakahanap ng tiyempo na pwede tayong dalawa."

There was another grin threatening to erupt on my face and I bit my lip as I try to suppress it. "How about my things? Paano mo nakuha 'to?"

"I got your passport from Jjangmae hyung. 'Yung mga damit mo naman, pinuntahan ko sa bahay ninyo," he nonchalantly stated.

My eyes widened at what he said. "WHAT?! Pumunta ka sa bahay namin?!" I yelled. Hindi ako makapaniwala! Nababaliw na ba 'tong lalaking 'to?! I clearly told him how my best friends hate his guts and he still had the gall to go there?!

"Hmm." Tango niya pa.

"Yah, baliw ka na ba?!" Sigaw ko muli. "Sinong naabutan mo do'n?! Kailan ka pumunta?! Anong sinabi nila sa'yo?! May ginawa ba sila? Anong sabi mo?" I bombed him with questions and the man had enough chill to laugh in my face while I was prattling off a mile a minute!!!

"KWON JIYONG!" I whined, my face contorting in annoyance.

Jiyong laughed harder before briefly turning to me. "Fine, fine, I'm sorry! Ang cute mo kasi!"

"What the–" I spoke in disbelief. "YAH I'M MAD! This is my face when I'm mad!" I asserted, but he wasn't even deterred.

"Look, everything went fine, okay? There's nothing to worry about. Aren't I here with you right now?" He pacified me calmly.

I bit my lip. "Still." Pagkontra ko. "I wasn't kidding when I said they don't like you."

Napangisi siya at napailing ng kaunti. "Yeah, I know they don't."

"Jiyong." Ulit ko. "Ano ngang nangyari?!" Pangungulit ko pero umiling lang siya.

"Nothing bad happened. That's all you need to know, miss." The car halted and he turned to me with a gentle smile. "We're here."

Mabilis akong napalingon sa labas. My jaw dropped at the amazing view. We're in a beach! Agad akong lumabas at napapikit pa nang salubungin ako ng mabining simoy ng hangin. The air smells like the ocean and it was comforting. The atmosphere was definitely a far cry from the rushed life in the city.

Lumingon ako sa likuran ko at mas lalong namangha. I blinked a couple of times while digesting the beautiful structure. The brick part of the building was covered in scattered yellow lights while the remaining part was floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The light inside was dim but I could faintly make out the posh but cozy interior of the building.

I turned to Jiyong with my jaw agape. "W–whose place is this?" I asked, and he smiled proudly.

"It's mine."
