A/n: this next chapter is one that will be in third person and will explain more about the Clan and how they came to be and all of that. This is the back stories of each character. I'll be doing little explanations for each one on this page. Enjoy!

First up, Austin.

Austin: Austin's background is a little disturbing. He was born in Nome, Alaska. He was sold into sex trafficking and was also a victim of child labor.

How he was found was that Alex and Chad were on a trip with Alex's father to Alaska. They went to an auction where Austin was held. He was going to be sold to an elderly woman, who was going to buy Austin for her granddaughter. Alex bid the most for Austin, who was a little frightened to go with them.

Austin told of his childhood, where he had been beaten, touched, and harassed most of his life. Alex and Chad promised that would not happen to him again as long as he was under their protection.

Joey and Bobby: They were born and raised in Cheb, Czechoslovakia. Joey was born to a different father than Bobby and his little sisters, so the younger ones don't understand most of what happened to Joey.

When Joey was around the age of 2 years old, his father died. Because of this, his mother panicked, blamed Joey, then tried multiple ways to kill him. All her attempts failed, obviously. She stopped trying to kill him when Bobby came along. She used Joey as Bobby's personal servant, for which Bobby could make Joey do anything he wished. Bobby enjoyed his time making his older brother hang out with him. They became close. A little too close for Mother. She made Joey do all the chores and forbade Bobby to talk to him. She treated Joey as a servant until the time in which Joey ran away at the age of 8, taking Bobby with him. They ran into Alex, Chad, and Austin, who were with Alex's dad for another trip. They came back to the Americas to find a new home.

Bobby wasn't sure about the new boys who Joey was talking to when they first met the beginning of the Clan. He was afraid Joey would leave him forever. He didn't want that. But Joey discussed with him what was going to happen and Bobby agreed easily.

Dave: Dave's background is actually one that might surprise and shock most of you. From Utrecht, Netherlands, Dave is a shy wolf who doesn't like to be noticed by people, which is caused because he was the most sought after guy in his city.

He had always been an attractive boy; although, he was a book worm. He was always soft spoken, making girls go crazy whenever he spoke to them. Alex and Chad came to him one day when he was reading on a bench in the middle of a busy square. They asked him to come along with them to the Americas. Dave nodded, thinking it was a chance to break away from his bland life in Utrecht, and it was. Alex promised that Dave would be protected no matter what.

Dustin: Dustin's story is probably the best so far. Living with one parent in Austin, Texas, is actually very easy.

He was the bread winner for his mother and him. His mother was paralyzed from the waist down, so he was doing all he could to help her out. Dustin didn't care about anything, except for his mother and making sure she was fed. The week after he got fired from his job as a mechanic was when he found Alex and Chad. Alex told Dustin if he came with them that they would pay his family's bills for him. Dustin agreed almost immediately.

Chad: His story is most likely one that will play with your heart strings. Chad lived in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey. His parents are both from Italy. He lived with his mom, dad, 2 older bothers, and his older sister. It was Valentine's day when the event that changed his life happened. (It also was Alex's birthday)

His family was going to a small house in the middle of the woods for their annual Valentine's day meal, when a warlock appeared with his 4 year old daughter. The warlock's name was Daniel and he had been trying for years to exterminate Chad's family. The warlock told the family he would kill them, the little girl ran over and told him not to, but Daniel smacked and scolded her for interrupting. Chad's family became protective over the girl, defending her when they couldn't save themselves. One by one, Chad's family is killed, in a very painful way, until all who is left is Chad. The little girl had run off by now, sad that she couldn't stop what had happened. Daniel threw one of his knives onto the ground in front of Chad. "Here, use this and kill yourself. You're so pathetic I can't even waste my time with you," he told Chad. Chad considered killing himself, until he remembered his best friend, Alex, was in a field nearby. Chad picked up the knife and several things from his fallen family. He rushed over to Alex's house and asked if they would let him stay for a while. Alex told him to stay for as long as he wanted.

Alex: Now for Alex's. Alex was born in Vancouver, Canada. He grew up in the town Chad lived.

His father used to come home drunk almost every night. He was very abusive to Alex. Alex's father moved onto beating on both Alex and Chad when Chad came to live with the Davidson family. Alex developed extreme anger problems, bipolar type 1 (the most severe case), and dyslexia. He began drinking alcohol at age 15. Alex found out that his father had cheated on another woman with his mother. His father had a child previous to him, Zack Garrison. After finding this out, he killed his father, donating the organs to others in need. A couple years later, his younger brothers Jackson and Johnathan came about. Alex swore to protect his family and make sure that everyone under his care was taken care of.

And he's kept that promise.
