"We can come home and change into our other costumes and then...since no one will know who we are, maybe I'll hold your hand while we do so" I tease him

"Wait for real? Like will you?" He asks excitedly

I smile and nod my head

"Can we skip the party and just do that instead?" He jokes

"No, because I like these costumes and I want to be seen in it" I say and pose for him

"Ok then we have to be quick, we'll make our appearance, have a few drinks, then we'll haul ass back home" he says with determination

"Sounds like a good plan to me" I smile and follow him into the club
