"Excuse me for asking this Ms. Boyd, but have I ever met you before," Luke asked as our meeting came to a close. He was now standing and I could see his skin tight jeans. My god.

I raised my eyebrows and shook my head quickly. "No, I can't say that we've ever met before. Maybe someone just looks like me," I lied stood up myself. Nope. I've got to keep playing this card.

Luke gave me a long hard look, "Well, if you say so... I could've sworn you looked like... Nevermind, it's impossible." Luke shook his head.

"I look like who," I asked acting like I didn't know who he was talking about.

"It's just... Your name is Carrie, right?" I nodded kind of surprised. "I-I met someone in Milwaukee back in April... And her name is Carrie and... Y'all just look alike... The green eyes, the brunette hair and the same smile... I just...Forgive me. That was completely out of line. This is a me problem, not a you problem." Luke shook his head again.

"No, it's okay," I mumbled unsure of what to say. He looked beyond confused. A sting of guilt ran through my body.

"Well... I guess I'll meet with you tomorrow so we can talk ideas for marketing. Have a great day, Care. I hope you can come up with some great ideas, cuz this country boys got nothing," he joked with his smooth southern drawl.

"That's what I'm getting paid to do," I quickly replied, "I'll see you tomorrow, Mr. Bry- I mean Luke. Has Mr. Michaels given you my number yet?"

Luke shook his head, "Nope. He said you'd be giving it to me."

I sighed. I don't even know my work number yet. Shit. "Okay, well I haven't memorized my new number yet... And I know this is completely unprofessional, but here's my number for ya. And my work email, which I have memorized already," I chuckled and wrote both down on a post it note pad that was sitting on the meeting room table.

"It's alright, thank you Ms. Boyd. Have yourself a great day," Luke told me with his flawless smile. Butterflies exploded in my stomach.

"Thank you, you too," I replied. Soon Luke was leaving the building and I was heading back to my desk in awe. He still remembers me. That's crazy.

I sat down at my desk and instantly started spouting ideas out on the notebook paper in front of me.

Once I was done I dropped my pencil on the desk and pulled my phone out of my purse. I had a text from an unknown number.

Unknown 1:34
Thanks again for what you're doing! Means a lot! - Luke

I sighed and shook my head before quickly typing back...

Me 1:35
No Prob Luke. It's my job.

I added Luke in my phone, slid my phone back into my purse and directed my attention toward the laptop on my desk. Sighing I did something that I haven't done since that night in April; Google Luke Bryan.

When I did I sure wasn't disappointed. All the pictures made the room feel a little hotter. Trying to hide my sudden uncomfort I quickly got off of images and looked at the type of tweets on his Twitter.

Wow. He needs a better PR or communications person. His promotional stuff could be so much better. Could easily post cool edited photos for new singles.

After a while someone cleared their throat in front of me. I looked up and saw Tyler standing in front of my desk with his laptop bag slung over his shoulder.

"Huh," I asked looking up at him with an eyebrow raised and confusion plastered on my face.

"Mr. Michaels said that we could leave at two today," he trailed off and saw that I've been taking notes, "Wow, looks like you really throw yourself into your job, huh?"

I nodded slowly and began closing out of all of the Windows I had opened. "Yeah, I love marketing will all my heart. It's such a great thing. And it's so interesting."

"I can tell... Hey, uh you want to go to a bar down on Broadway before we head our separate ways," Tyler asked with a hopeful look on his face.

I thought for a few seconds before grabbing my purse and standing up, "Uh sure, but not more than one. I want to go back to my place and continue working on some of those ideas for Luke... Wait a sec, I'm going to take a picture of the ideas in my notebook!" I quickly reached in my purse and pulled my phone out, snapping the photo of my messy handwriting on the paper.

"Haha you work too hard sometimes," Tyler joked as I followed him out of the office area.

I chuckled and replied, "Yeah, I know. When I love something or someone I tend to throw my all into it. It's just who I am."

"And there's no problem with that," Tyler mentioned as he held the door open for me. The cool fall air came whooshing by the two of us as we walked towards Broadway. "Have you tried any bar down here yet?"

I nodded and looked at him, "Yeah, I went to Honky Tonk Central yesterday."

"Well you're going to love this place that I'm taking you. It's so awesome," he informed with a smile plastered on his face.

"Alright," I mumbled unsure of what that really meant. But I mean is Nashville,it can't be that bad.

"It's called Tootsies Orchid Lounge. It's environment is similar to Honky Tonk Central. Man, I remember my 21 birthday, four years ago, my friends took me to every single bar on Broadway. Tootsies was my favorite," he told me with passion soaking in his voice.

I laughed, "it's been 13 years since I was 21. But I definitely remember mine, my whole family went to Vegas... Let's get real though, that's a long story."
