I was just sitting in my hotel room scrolling through my phone, extremely nervous about going to the game with Luke. Does he like me? Does he really like me? Nervousness shot through my stomach. He can't.

There was a knock at my door and my eyes opened wide when I realized that was probably Luke. Am I really doing this? I can't believe I'm doing this. This is crazy. I stood up from the bed and walked over to the door looking through the peep hole. Luke was standing outside the door shuffling from foot to foot as he looked down at his feet.

I opened the door and he looked up at me, throwing a smile on his face. "Hey Carrie, you look great," he told me awkwardly as his beautiful brown eyes practically stared into my soul.

"I'm only wearing jeans and a Milwaukee Admirals shirt," I pointed out while raising an eyebrow at him in question.

Look had a scared look on his face before he quickly shot back smoothly, "You make anything look good, Carrie. Honest to god."

I giggled and looked down at my feet then back up at him, "Are you ready for the game? I miss hockey so much."

"Of course I am darlin'. I mean Football is more my thing but I figured The Predators game was easier because it's right across the street from the Hall Of Fame," Luke informed as I closed the door behind me and the two of us began walking toward the elevator.

"That's perfectly fine actually, I enjoy hockey a lot more than football. I mean I'm a Green Bay packers fan... But... Hockey is still my favorite," I admitted as the two of us stepped into the elevator.

Luke was looking down at me with a large smile on his face, "Well, then I'm happy I picked a hockey game instead."

The two of us then made our way to the arena and got in line behind all the other fans. One thing that I really like about this? He may be famous, but he's acting like a normal person. The minute we walked into the arena I realized that I had forgotten a hoodie. Stupid Carrie. I shook my head at myself.

When Luke and I got to our seats Luke sat down in seat two and let me have the aisle seat. It was just about 2 minutes before the teams would take the ice and introductions would be taking place.

During the second period I began getting goosebumps, which I ignored for the time being. A puck was deflected into the crowed and was going straight for my head. I moved to my left, practically putting my head on Luke's warm chest. As I kept my head there I could feel the puck hit the back of my chair then land on my back.

I pulled away from Luke and picked the puck up smiling at it. "There ya go Darlin' a gift for your first hockey game," Luke told me with a bold smile on his face.

I smiled back at him and held the cold puck in my hands. "This is pretty cool," I noted as I looked at it.

"May I see it," Luke asked with a hopeful look on his face. I nodded and handed it to him with a smile. "This is pretty cool. You have an official game puck," he told me as he read the writing on the face of the puck.

I giggled as he gave it back to me. Then I shivered. Luke raised an eyebrow as his brown eyes peered at me. "Are you okay Carrie," he asked.

"I'm just a little cold," I admitted. "I'm stupid and forgot my hoodie back at my place."

Luke chuckled and quickly stood up sliding his jacket off his jean jacket off, leaving him in his red Tshirt. "Luke you don't have to! I'll be fine without anything," I told him as I pushed the jacket back at him.

"No Carrie. Take it," he told me as he gave me a serious look.

I sighed, "Fine. If you say so. I took the Jean jacket in my hands and slid it on. It still had Luke's warmth which made me feel safe... And it smelled like Luke. I smiled as I crossed my arms and held it to me.

"Good. I don't want to freezing tonight," he informed as he put his arm around the back of my chair. I leaned back into his touch.

With about two minutes left in the game the Predators were up 6-3 against the Sharks. As the clock ticked down I was slowly regretting that the game was almost over. Luke has been such a gentleman all night. I sighed, still deep in thought.

"You alright Carrie? You look like you're thinking pretty hard right now," Luke mentioned as his brown eyes looked at me with a concerned look. I'm beginning to melt just from his eyes.

"I just... I've been having a great night... I don't want to to end," I confessed and looked down at my lap, blushing pretty hard.

"Carrie," Luke mumbled. I couldn't look at him. "Look at me." I slowly looked up at him, afraid of what he would say. "It doesn't have to end right here. What do you say we go to a bar on Broadway and grab a late night meal?"

A smile crawled onto my face. "Sure. That'd be nice. You're pretty awesome Luke," I told him as I looked into his brown eyes.

"It's no problem," his southern drawl was so attractive. "I'm having a great time with you."

About two hours later we were at my hotel room door. My back was to the door and Luke was facing me. "Thank you for the great night Luke. It's the best night I've had in awhile," I told him with a smile on my face.

"It was no problem Darlin'," he replied with a smile in return. I got up on my tip toes and placed a kiss on his left cheek then turned around and slid my room key into the door.

"Night Luke."

Luke's eyes were wide. "Night," he practically whispered in shock. I giggled and closed my door. Once the door was closed I looked through the peephole to see Luke standing there, bringing his hand up to his cheek where I had just kiss him. A smile appeared on his face as he turned on his heels and walked down the hall.
