Magnus walks out the diner door and looks around for him. When he looks to his left he sees him walking towards him, smiling.
"I just realized, I don't even know your name."
"Alec lightwood."
"Is that short for Alexander?"
"Yeah but most people don't call me that."
"I'm not most people, Alexander."
Alec takes his hand and they walk down the street to a small cafe about a block from the diner.
"I thought we were going for a drink."
"We are, I just didn't specify which kind. I don't usually drink anything stronger then coffee." He says, holding the door open.
"Sounds terrific." Magnus says as they sit down at a little table.
They sit at the same table foe hours just talking and laughing.
Alec finds out that magnus is an only child who was raised by his very strict grandmother after his parents died in a car accident. He has lived on his own since she died when he was seventeen.
Magnus learned that alec has two brothers and a sister that he is looking after because their parents sent them away from their meddiaterraian island of idris because of a revolution that endangered everyone's safety.
"I had a great time." Magnus says while they are standing outside of his apartment.
"Me too. Can I see you again?"
"I would've been very upset if u hadn't asked." Magnus says, leaning down and kissing alec.
