"Where are you and alec going tonight?" Cat asks, sitting on her bed while Magnus is in her bathroom getting ready.
"I don't know, he won't tell me. I can't even imagine what he has planned, he's already taken me everywhere."
Cat smiles at Magnus's smile and says, "im glad you are finally getting out."
"Me too."
They both look up as the doorbell rings. Cat stands up and says, "I'll let alec in, you finish getting ready."
When she answers the door, she gets a face full of flowers.
"As much as I would love to get flowers, I think you should give these to Magnus." She laughs.
Alec blushes and says, "sorry cat."
"Its ok." she says as her bedroom door opens.
Alec looks at Magnus and they share a smile as if they are the only ones in the room.
"Well." Cat says, clearing her throat. "I'm going to go check on the kids." She says, leaving them alone.
"So." Magnus says, walking over to alec and putting his arms around his neck. "Where are we going tonight."
Alec takes a deep breath and says, "it's a surprise but if you don't feel comfortable where we go, just tell me and we will go somewhere else."
"Ok." Magnus says, taking alecs hand as they leave.

"It's beautiful." Magnus says, looking at the view from the balcony of alecs hotel room where he has dinner for two waiting for them.
"I'm glad you like it."
Alec clicks on the soft background music then takes Magnus in his arms and the move in small circles, lost in small kisses and mutterings of sweet nothings in each other's ears.
"Would you like to spend the night with me tonight?" Alec whispers.
"Very much." Magnus says against his lips.
