"Magnus." Cat says, sitting down next to him. "You know I don't have a problem with you staying here for as long as you want but you haven't moved from that spot since you arrived three days ago."
Magnus doesn't answer just stares at the blank television screen in front of him.
"Ok. I gotta get to work.." She stands up and leaves.
Magnus sits on the couch, not moving. When the knocking on the door begins he ignores it. When it goes from knocking to pounding he finally gets up to answer it.
When he opens the door he gasps and says, "Alexander?"
"Magnus." Alec says, smiling softly at him.
"You are dead."
"No, I'm not. Can I come in?"
"No."
"Ok. I guess we talk here."
"The only thing I want to know is why?"
"I did it to protect everyone."
"Did it?"
"Yes, jace killed sebastian when he knocked you out at the grave yard. We captured hodge when he invaded the palace."
Magnus doesn't say anything just smacks alec hard.
Jerome starts to step forward but alec stops him and says, "It's ok, I guess I deserved that."
"You think?" Magnus says. "Do you realize what you have put me through for the last two weeks."
"The only thing I can say is I'm sorry."
"Sorry? Well, sorry isn't good enough. Good bye, Alexander." Magnus says, closing the door.
Magnus sits on the couch with his head in his hands when his phone buzzes.
From: Alexander
If you change your mind about wanting to talk, I will be at the hotel until tomorrow morning.
Magnus closes his phone without replying.

"You look worse then you did when I left." Cat says, walking in.
"Thanks."
"What's wrong?"
"Alexander was here while you were gone."
"Alec is dead."
"Apparently he's not. He faked his death to drawn sebastian out into the open."
"So I have to ask, why are you here and not with your husband?"
"He lied to me."
"He didn't lie to you to cover up anything, he did it for everyone's including yours protection."
"You think I should go talk to him?"
"Well, it is your decision to make but remember, he is your husband and you love him and when you took you vows, you promised to love him through the rough times as well as the good times." Cat says, leaving magnus sitting on the couch with nothing but his thoughts.
