"What?" Alec says, picking up his phone as it rings on the bedside table.
"I'm sorry to bother you, your majesty because you are on your honeymoon."
"What do you want, Hodge?"
"There's been an emergency."
Alec sets up in bed and says, "what kind of emergency?"
"Prince max, he was on his way to school and sebastian morgansterns followers got him."
"What do you mean?"
"He was killed."
"We will be on the plane within an hour, when I get home, I want the entire royal family in my office." Alec says, hanging up the phone.
"Alexander?" Magnus says, placing and hand on his shoulder. "What happened?"
Alec lays his head on magnus's shoulder and cries, "He got max."

"I want the details." Alec says when the rest of his family sit down on his office.
"Max was on his way to school, without his security and they got him." Jace answers.
"Why was he without his security?"
"We don't know." Izzy says. "He had already left by the time we found out he didn't have them with him. By the time we sent his security after him, they already had him."
"I want max's security in here now." Alec says to hodge.
"Yes, your majesty." He says, leaving the room.
"You want us to leave?" Jace asks.
"No." Alec answers. "I want all of us here."
There is a knock on the door and six people walk in.
"My first question is why did max leave the palace without you?" Alec asks.
"Your majesty." The man standing in front says. "We had orders to let max go alone."
"Was that order directly from
a member of the royal family?"
"No, your majesty, it was relayed to us."
"Who gave you the order?"
"Hodge said it was from you, your majesty."
"I wouldn't have given that order, I was the one that gave the order that no one was to leave the palace without security." Alec says, standing up from behind his desk. "I want you to bring me hodge now." He says as the group leaves his office.

"He's gone, your majesty. We searched the entire palace."
"I have a new assignment for you and your men, bring me hodge Starkweather and sebastian morganstern, dead or alive." Alec says, not looking up from his desk.
