LUNA'S POV
I stayed up until 12:30 finishing up how I want my album. I figured out what I want for my cover and font and songs and style. I decided to have it be called "Fighting Fearless," like my song, and I chose all the songs I wanted and I had a photographer take a pic of what I wanted, and it matched my vision perfectly. And I had help from an editor to make the finally product.
And the 10 songs I chose were:
Fighting Fearless
Freedom
I am who I am
Play it Again
Really
At the School Dance
Me Without You (ft. Taylor Swift)
Always There
I Wrote a Song for You
Pretending
I'm just relieved that I finally figured it out. School's doing okay, my band started recording, and we have another concert tonight. The crew got Taylor and I ready and we went to rehearsal for a few hours, ate, and then let the audience in. I was going to sing "I Wrote a Song for You," to open because it was pretty easy for my new band to master and because I thought that it was a great opener for her theme. I just wanted to not make her look bad again.
When it was time to start, I walk on to the stage, playing my guitar, "They say when life gives you lemons," I began as the crowd started to cheer.
"then you make lemonade.
Well, if that's true, then why is this so insane?
Lately, things have begun to escalate.
And it's been getting out of hand.
I wish you'd tell me why,
'cause I don't understand."
I motion to Mason and he starts drumming, followed by Elijah, then Holli and Molli start singing with me and the dancers come out and the lights are amazing and beautiful.
"But I wrote a song for you.
Because of how much I've missed you.
Please, can we just try to work this out?
I'm just tired of all the cries and shouts.
So I wrote a song for you.
I say I love you..." I have a guitar solo then, "I wrote a song for you."
I smile as the crowd goes wild, "They say we are who we are.
But we had drifted apart.
Things started out so great for us,
you'd give me presents just because.
And laugh at my silly, old jokes.
But after, our rock-solid relationship broke." I paused for the drums Tssst... Tssst...Tssst.
"But I wrote a song for you.
Because of how much I've missed you.
Please, can we just try to work this out?
I'm just tired of all the cries and shouts.
So I wrote a song for you.
I say I love you..." I paused, "I wrote a song for you.
When there was love at the start,
then there was joy in my heart!
And when that all went awya.
I knew that I couldn't stay.
In the end we'll see the truth.
It hurts, but I know I can't be with you.
But I wrote a song for you.
Because of how much I've missed you.
Please, can we just try to work this out?
I'm just tired of all the cries and shouts.
So I wrote a song for you.
I say I love you... I wrote a song for you.
I can't believe I wrote you a song.
The entire time I've just been wrong!
The good Lord know you're not the guy for me.
The sky has cleared, and now I finally see!
But I wrote a song for you.
Because of how much I've missed you.
Please, can we just try to work this out?
I'm just tired of all the cries and shouts.
So I wrote a song for you.
I say I love you... I wrote a song for you." We ended and I bowed. My band and I exited and we all had a group hug. I beamed, "Thank you guys so much! I couldn't have done it without you all!" Taylor come up to me, "Good job!" she congratulates me as someone hands her a mic. "Thanks," I replied "Break a leg!" she gives me a look "...not literally." We laugh and she's lifted up to the stage by a platform. She begins singing "New Romantics," the song she sang to us when I first met her. She was amazing!
After a few of her songs, some teen who I think was a manager-in-training or something came up to me, "You go on stage, yes?" I could barely understand what she was saying, "Yes?" I asked "What? I can't hear you." She rolls her eyes, "Ya! You go on stage now!" She was sweetish or something, but when I finally realized what she said, she pushes me onstage before I could tell her I was already done. Taylor was in the middle of "Bad Blood," and then one of the spotlight lands on me.
I awkwardly start singing along like I was just one of the back-up singers, "...don't think it's in the past. These kinds of wounds, they last and they last..." but then the dancers came and brought me up by Taylor as if we were singing it to each other. I try to get into character, but at the same time, give Taylor an "I'm sorry" look. I could tell that she had just about enough. When the song was done, I bow and quickly get off of the stage.
I told the girl that I wasn't supposed to be on at that time and she just tried to blame the whole thing on me. I was so embarrassed. The concert ended, and Taylor ignored me as we walk out to sign autographs. One of the people asked, "Did you purposefully go on to up-stage Taylor?" I shake my head, "No, it was just a mistake. It was just supposed to be her on stage. I didn't purposefully try to up-stage her. It was fun singing 'Bad Blood,' with her, though. Now I'm just ranting, here's your autograph."
Finally, we were all done and the only thing I was scared of was talking to Taylor.
A.N/ Hey OITs! I have an idea that I think you guys will like so yay! Bye!
