LUNA'S POV
When we arrived in Des Moines I was so tired that I couldn't read what time my phone was telling me it was. We were staying in a hotel near where the concert was being held for a few days until going to the next city. Auditions for my band will be in five days and I'm really excited.
While we were staying at the hotel, Taylor's band and I started recording some of my songs and touching up the lyrics and stuff. I kind of felt selfish because it made me feel like Taylor was pretty much... giving me her life. But I wasn't trying to. And I tried to let her know as much as possible how thankful I was of her kindness.
Like my parents told me they would, they send me new school work every two weeks. It wasn't to difficult as long as I did it. I learned that the hard way. And Taylor is really good at English...unlike me. Science is definitely my best subject, besides the labs and homework part.
Anyway, after I finished my homework and checked up with my family Taylor told me she had a surprise for me. "Taylor, you've already done enough for me. No more!" I insisted. "No, please! This is a really great opportunity!" she urged. "Okay, what is it?" Taylor smiled, "I got you an interview on a t.v. show with a mix of celebrity interviews, musical performers, audience participation games, and segments spotlighting real people with extraordinary stories and talents, hosted by... Ellen DeGeneres!"
"Oh my gosh! Are you for real?! I have an interview! With Ellen DeGeneres! This cannot be happening! Thank you! Thank you so much, Taylor!" We hugged for what seemed like... forever, until I couldn't breathe anymore. "No problem. You'll be asked questions on what's coming up with your album and what your doing. Your the new It-Girl!" I was so happy.
That night, I was looking through my songbook to pick which one I'd sing on The Ellen Show. I decided to sing the one Taylor and I wrote, since she was the reason I was there in the first place. I'd sing it with her before the interview started. I was looking through the lyrics when I read the first part of the second verse: "I'll go date all your best friends..." I didn't really like that line, because not only did Taylor already use it, but it just wasn't... me. So I erased it, 'I bet she wouldn't mind me changing one line...' I told myself. Then I went to bed.
A.N/ Hey guys. Not the chapter I hoped for, the next one! Sorry, I had a time limit, so this is the best I could do, so.... WATCH THE SEASON 6 PREMIERE OF OUAT TONIGHT!
