LUNA'S POV
The shade traveled up the trees as night fell. I sat by a stream and threw pebbles unto it and watched as they made little rings run across them. My eyes were salty, my make up was smeared, and my face was red.
Taylor hated me.
I was hoping to continue on with building my career, but what mattered the most to me right now was getting Taylor back. She was the reason that I had gotten this far. And I didn't want to lose her.
When I thought my face was back to normal enough, I headed back to the bus. It was completely dark by then. I had been a little lost, but I eventually found it, but it was locked.
That's when I completely list it. I pounder on the door, "You can't lock me up, too!" I was tearing up again and I couldn't handle much of it anymore, it was too overwhelming.
Taylor eventually opened the door with a huge frown on her face. I sniffled. "Sorry" was all we said. I took a quick shower, got in my PJ'S, and went to bed. But I was still crying to myself.
TAYLOR'S POV
I know Luna didn't mean to hurt me, but it's just one thing after another after another! And I don't know how much more of it I can take...
First, she called me by my embarrassing nick name on live television after promising to not tell anyone. Then, she changed our song without telling me. And after that, interrupted my concert and totally took it over. And finally, she tells everyone that to the press about hating me!
Luna said she didn't really say all those things, but at this point... I don't know if I can really trust her anymore.
We both went to sleep without saying a word to each other. They're honestly wasn't anything to say.
The next morning, she mad me breakfast. I thanked her and we ate in silence. I secretly missed talking to her, but I was too angry to say anything. We had a meeting today about the tour and the recordings, but I was totally not looking forward to it. We also had dance rehearsal, but I was so exhausted, I decided Luna and I should stop this childish nonsense. So I called and cancelled.
"What's going on?" she asked.
"We need to talk," I say, putting my phone on the table "Tell me everything so we can stop having things so awkward..."
So, she explained to me that she was sorry about switching song lines without telling me, that the MIT couldn't hear her to say she wasn't supposed to be on. And when the MIT shoved her on stage, she panicked when the spotlight went on her. And the press must've edited her words because she didn't say any of those things.
I waited for a long time to digress it all. I sighed a long breath out and told myself to chill. "Luna..." I began "From now on, let's just think before we speak. That's a part of being a star. You need to be careful what you say. And let's be partners again."
"Really!?" Luna exclaimed "You mean it?" I nodded and for the first time in a while, I gave her a smile. She wrapped her arms around me, "Thank you Tay. And I am so sorry! From now on, I'll be super careful! I PROMISE!"
We laughed together. Then I blow a raspberry, "I'm bored." She stands up, "Then let's enjoy our day off!" I take her hand and we had the biggest dance and song party two people could have.
A.N/ I like it so much better when they're friends! Don't you? Do y'all have any ideas for the book? Please comment and vote! :)
