After announcing that they have a supernatural demon on their team, life didn't exactly continue well for Charles. Every morning, he would awaken to the Rider whispering in his mind.

"Would you be quiet please?" Charles asked as he bathed. "There are souls that need to be punished Williams, let me loose!" The Rider begged. He sighed before finishing his shower and drying himself off. He put on a pair of clean clothes and walked to the side of his bed. He looked at the sleeping form of his love, Dr. Angela Ziegler.

"She has done something horrible that needs to be punished." The Rider said reaching towards the sleeping angel.

"No, you will not hurt her." He growled. The Rider hesitated before complying. "She is the one that made Reaper who he is today." The Rider said before going quiet. Angela started to stir and awoke to Charles looking down at her.

"Good morning liebes, I hope your sleep was pleasant." She said yawning. Her yawn infected Charles's heart, it was one the sweet things in life to hear. Rather than constant screaming and the Rider whispering in head.

"Yes it was pleasant. Now, I will be gone for a while, The Rider is getting restless." He said leaning down to kiss her forehead. She looked at him with a concern look and nodded.

"Please keep him safe." She said. "I understand." The Rider said through Charles. She smiled as Charles walked out of their room and to the garage.

"Yo, Charlie, where you heading?" Hana asked jogging over. "Just to get some fresh air, the Rider is being antsy." He replied opening the door to the garage.

"Well, if by any chance, can you get some groceries? Preferably ones I need." She asked handing him a list of junk food and soda.

"I am the Devil's bounty hunter, not your personal butler." The Rider said. Hana scoffed and crossed her arms.

"Just bring them back normal, I don't want burned chips like last time." She said before leaving. The Rider growled before placing the list in his pocket.

"Calm down, it's just groceries." Charles said suppressing a giggle. The Rider went silent as Charles uncovered the bike for their last mission. He managed to clean off some rust here and there, he also replaced the engine and other parts. He walked towards the door and lifted it open as the morning breeze swept through.

He walked back to the bike and kicked up the kickstand and started it. The bike roared to life as Charles's sped out. Being out on the road, it was comforting. He could listen to the roar of the engine as he sped on through the highway. Sadly it was short lived as a police cruiser stopped him.

He grumbled and slowed to a stop as the flashing blue and red lights flashed behind him in the morning light. He removed his helmet and hung it on the handle as he kicked out the stand to hold the bike in place and dismounted.

"Morning son, you know how fast you were going?" The officer asked walking up to him. "I'm sorry officer, I guess I was just lost in thought that I forgot to check the speed limit." Charles replied with a light laugh. The officer looked at him and smiled.

"License and registration please." He said holding his hand out. Charles nodded and pulled out his license and registration for the officer. He took them and returned to his car.

"You're unusually quiet today." He said. "The officer, he seems, familiar." The Rider spoke before going silent as the officer returned.

"You check out alright sir, I'll just give you a ticket for the speeding and you'll be on you're merry way." The officer said with a smile. Charles nodded and returned his license and registration back in his wallet as the officer wrote out his ticket.
