Charles awoke to see Angela getting ready. "Rise and shine Commander." She said with a smile. The blonde man stood up groggily as he yawned and stretched. He made his way to the shower and cleaned himself. Exiting the bath, he placed on clean clothes and his gear. He walked to the mess hall to see the agents and personnel talking and eating together. Everyone grew silent as Angela and Charles entered.

"Good morning Commander." Ana said walking up to him. "Morning Ana, and please, it's Charlie. Its weird being called 'Commander'." He said. Lena blinked over to him and nudged his shoulder.

"Big day, 'Commander'." She said with a grin. "Yes it will be." He said as he grabbed his food and sat with Ana and Winston. Angela sat next to him as he ate.

"So, Winston, any luck on a new base for us?" He asked. "No sadly, but I insist we use Ecopoint Antarctica as a forward base." He said.

"I do too my furry friend, but Mei wouldn't like it." Angela said. "I know, she can stay here and help us whenever we need it." Winston suggested.

"I don't know big guy, it's her decision. I won't force our decision on her." Charles said. As the four finished eating, they left for the command center. Lawson and Barnes stood near a map as they made their way in.

"Commander." The two said. "Commander Lawson, Captain Barnes." Charles replied. "So, any new plans on that base?" Lawson asked.

"We plan on using Ecopoint Antarctica, but we worry about our ecologist." Charles said. "Mei? I heard about the incident. To be frozen for that long." Barnes said.

"Yes, about Mei, we are deciding on having her stay here. If that's okay with you?" Ana asked. "It's fine by me." Lawson replied. Winston smiled as he lumbered off to find her.

"Alright, we'll be departing soon. But would you be will to send resources there? Food, Water?" Charles asked.

"We'll see what we can do. You just worry on how to accommodate your troops. Leading isn't exactly an easy job, isn't it?" Lawson asked with a smile. Charles sighed as he sat down and placed his head on the table.

"No, it really isn't. God, how do you do it?" He asked. Lawson laughed as he patted his shoulder.

"It just takes practice and motivation among your troops. You'll get it soon." The Commander said.

"You make it sound easy." Charles grumbled as the door opened. Mei and Winston appeared. "Ah, Mei, I'm glad you could make it." Charles said.

"Good morning Char-I mean Commander." She said. "You're fine Mei, it's still me." Charles said. "Oh, okay." She said giggling.

"Listen, Lawson wants us to leave and I would love to fulfil that wish, but the only base Winston said we could use is the Ecopoint." Charles said. Mei stared at him before backing up.

"Hold on, now, we were talking and have decided that we want you here. I know about your backstory and what happened, I don't want to force you to a place you don't want to goto." Charles informed her. Mei stared at Ana, Angela, Winston, and Lawson. The four nodded as Lawson walked forward.

"I'd like to welcome you to the team, if you decide that is what you want." Lawson said holding his hand out.

"Will I still be apart of Overwatch?" She asked. "Of course you will. If you do decide to be here, you can call us anytime." Angela said. Mei looked at Lawson and smiled as she shook his hand.

"Welcome aboard, Miss Ling-Zhou." He said. Mei looked at Charles as he grinned and nodded. 'See, being a leader isn't hard, and you were whining about that.' The Rider teased. 'Oh, so you got jokes now?' Charles replied as the hissing of laughter filled his head.
