~A month later~

"Well, the buildings' been restored sir." A worker said. Charles patted his shoulder and nodded. "Thank you, for everything you've done for this place. But you'll need to leave for now, until Talon is destroyed." Charles said.

"10-4 sir." The worker said as the rest of them left. Charles sighed and walked to the command center as Lawson, Ana, Winston, and Angela stood around the console.

"We should attack, while we have the element of surprise." Ana said. "But, like Athena said, they'll still be waiting for us." Lawson replied.

"What do you suggest? Sending in the Unit?" Ana retorted. Charles stepped to the command console as a map of Talon's base appeared. He looked at it as the sounds of Ana and Lawson's argument faded.

'I know what you're thinking, and it's crazy. We'd be torn to shreds, even with my invulnerability.' The Rider said.

'Perhaps, but do you have a better idea?' Charles retorted. 'Well, one that doesn't revolve in us being Swiss cheesed.' The Rider said. He glanced up as Angela and Winston looked at him.

"Enough!" He said, silencing the two. "Bickering with each other is not going to help us decide." Charles said.

"Sorry Commander, but Mr. Lawson suggests we attack now. But what he doesn't know, is that they'll be waiting for a frontal assault." Ana said.

"Well, we need to attack them soon. I don't think they would just sit and allow us to attack." Charles replied. Hana ran into the room as she breathed heavily.

"Easy Hana, what is it?" Angela asked. "A Talon....ship....has landed." She said. Charles and the rest took off as Hana slumped down the wall.

"I'll just...sit here." She heaved. The 5 entered the hangar bay, troopers stood at the ready. The door opened as two figures jumped down.

"Halt! State your business and intent." Charles demanded as he held a pistol. A dark cloaked man walked up to them as they other cracked his shoulders and fingers.

"Well isn't this a welcoming committee." The cloaked man said. The dark cloaked figure removed his hood and looked at Charles.

"Charlie." Reyes said. Charles's eyes widened as he dropped his pistol. "What are you doing here Gabriel? I thought you were with Talon?" Ana asked, holding her biotic rifle at his chest.

"Not anymore, I realized the error of my ways. I wish to seek redemption." Gabriel replied. Tears began falling down his cheeks as he fell to his knees.

"Go ahead, send him out. I deserve to die, but I never wanted to hurt you or Jennie. My own arrogance got the better of me. Please, forgive me." Gabriel pleaded. Charles walked over to him and knelt in front of him.

"That's all I wanted to hear." Charles said as tears cascaded down his face. Gabriel glanced up as Charles smiled at him. He wrapped his arms around Gabriel and cried into his shoulder.

"I'm just so glad I have my Uncle again." Charles said. Gabriel smiled lightly and held him close. Charles's weight forced him to sit down and continue to hold him. Jennie, Julie, and David walked over and as Jennie dashed forward and dogpiled on the two.

"Oh my!" Gabriel squeaked as the two clutched him tightly. The agents lowered their weapons as the Commander of Overwatch and his sister were two little children again. Ana smiled as Gabriel wrapped his arms around the children, tears falling rapidly.

"I'm so sorry, I'm sorry for everything, my grudge with Jack, me abandoning you when you needed me most. I'm sorry for my behavior. I'm so sorry." He sobbed. Charles looked up at him and grinned.
