Soldier 76, Tracer, and Winston discussed among themselves as Charles and Jackson stood in the corner. 76 was the first to walk over.
"Okay, explain to me what you are again?" 76 asked Jackson. "Like I said, I'm a Rider. Just like this one." He said pointing to Charles. "I find that hard to believe. Charlie is the only one that is a Rider." Tracer retorted. Jackson sighed before going to the shadows and igniting as he took his Rider form.
"You believe me now?" He asked crossing his arms. "But, how are you still in control? I thought the Rider took possession of it's host?" Winston asked. "Well, after countless tickets to secret caverns across the world, I managed to find a scroll that helps with controlling the burning demon inside." Jackson explained.
"So, I can control the Rider without him taking over my physical body?" Charles asked as Jackson returned to his normal state.
"Aye, that you can do. But only if Charles goes with me." He said looking to the three agents. "Well, that is not your decision to make, we need to have a discussion with the rest of the agents before we let you take him." 76 said taking a fatherly stance. Jackson raised his hands and nodded.
"I only want what's best for Charles. So when he changes to the Rider, the Rider doesn't possess him." He said. Charles walked to the shadows as the Rider took form and stood menacingly in front of Jackson.
"That will never happen. I have my directives! I am a spirit of Vengeance, meant to bring punishment to those that deserve it. Not be some petty hero to these people." The Rider spat pointing to the three agents.
"Well you are in my friend. So deal with it bone head!" Tracer retorted stalking towards the Rider. He looked at her before he let out a raspy laugh.
"You have guts, I commend you. But you cannot make me like him." He said pointing to Jackson. "Because if you do, I will kill you." The Rider said lowering himself to Tracer's eye level. But the slender time traveler held her ground and stared in the eyeless holes of the Rider.
"Go ahead and try. You'll be on the ground before you can say 'punishment'." She growled. The Rider pulled his chain from his chest as his fire burned brightly. Tracer stood to him and pull out her pistols.
"Okay, enough of this." Jackson said before grabbing the Rider by his throat. "'ann dhahab!" Jackson yelled. The Rider dissipated until Charles reappeared.
"H-how did you do that?" Winston asked. "Simple, all I said was 'Be Gone' in Arabic and he disappeared. There is more I can teach him, but only if he comes with me." Jackson explained. Winston looked at 76 and Tracer.
"This could be useful. If Charles can control this monster, he'll prove to be a useful asset to Overwatch." The primate said.
"Yeah, but what about Charles's psyche? What if, and hear me out on this, what if the barrier between the Rider and Charles breaks? What then?" 76 asked. Tracer looked at the two with disgust.
"He is our friend, and all you can think is about how he'll do in battle?" Tracer yelled making Jackson and Charles look at them.
"Tracer, it's not what you think." Winston said. "I know what you two are thinking, you are going to have Jackson take him to control the Rider, that I am 100% for, but you want him to do it so he could help us in battle? He's a human being!" She retorted.
"Tracer, with the power of the Rider, we can turn the tides of this battle with Talon!" 76 said. Tracer looked at him and then back to Winston.
