Now that David had returned, and not under Talon's influence, the team decided to test him to see if anything had happened. They discovered he was able to control fire, hence the codename 'Fire'.
"Well then, I guess we can call you the 'Human Torch'." Charles said with a smile. Hana dropped her fork and started to laugh. David chuckled lightly before patting Charles's shoulder.
"I'm glad you're alive and not dead. It was hard those many years. Many friends left and returned." Charles said with a frown. David clicked his tongue before pulling him into a hug and kissing his forehead.
"Well, I guess I might as well start being a dad." He said with a chuckle. Jennie hugged his waist as she held him close. She wanted to make sure this was real and not a dream.
"Jennie, I am real. You don't need to worry." David assured her as he ruffled her brown hair. She peered into his green eyes before drying her tears.
"I know, I just want to know I am not dreaming." She replied. Angela walked in before sitting next to Charles and kissing him. David raised an eyebrow at the kiss.
"David, you know it's not polite to stare." Angela said. He chuckled lightly before elbowing Charles.
"Didn't know you had the hots for an older lady." He teased. "Shut up dad!" Charles whined. Angela blushed before stopping a giggle coming from her mouth. Hana and Lucio stared to laugh loudly as David and Jennie joined in. Charles slammed his head on the table as he grumbled.
"Joking aside, I remember some parts before Talon's influence disappeared. Who was that skeletal flame being?" He asked. Hana and Lucio looked at each other as Jennie suddenly took interest in her phone. The rest of the agents squirmed in their seats, trying desperately to avoid the question.
"Seriously, who was that guy? Seemed like a badass in my opinion." David said. Silence filled the room as no one dared to tell.
"Don't everyone jump at once." David said setting his fork on his plate. Charles took a shaky breath before looking into his father's eyes.
"That was me, dad. I am the Ghost Rider." He said. David stared at his son before laughing. "That's a good one son. But seriously, who is he?" He asked. Charles held his ground as David finally came to the realization.
"You're not kidding." He said. To prove his point, he asked Athena to turn the lights off. As the room became dark, Charles's skin started to glow with Hellfire. David stared at him before backing off as the Rider burst forward.
"Oh my god. How did this happen?" David asked. "It happened a long time ago, when me and Jennie were still children, living at Madam Sarah's house." He said. He told David everything, from becoming adopted by the agents, to the ambush. Jennie being injured and him pulling her out of the wreck.
"I thought Jennie was going to die, I prayed to anyone. But, the Devil was listening. He answered my call and healed her. I sold my soul to save her." He finished. The light came back on as Charles's skin grew back. He didn't dare look at his father. He felt ashamed, but he knew it was the right thing to do.
"I had no idea." David said. Charles looked at him as a single tear fell down his face. Charlie's lip stared to quiver before David placed a hand on his cheek and wiped his tear away.
"Don't cry my boy, you did the right thing. You looked out for your sister like I knew you would. For that, I am proud of you." He said hugging him close.
David released his son as the agents resumed their lunch, Angela kissing his cheek before rubbing his back to soothe the crying man.

Charles, Jennie, and David sat on a cliff watching the waves crash into the rocks below. Genji and Zenyatta came by and joined them.
"I hope you don't mind. It's just that the sound of the waves seem to soothe problems." Genji said.
"I don't mind at all Genji. You're perfectly fine." David assured the man. Genji sighed as Zenyatta nodded. Jennie and Charles smiled as the 5 watched the sunset.
"I wonder, if Lucifer is real. What about God?" Charles asked. Jennie looked at him and giggled.
"Of course there is a God silly. If Lucifer wasn't real, then neither would God. He's probably busy, watching over his children and creations." Jennie said looking up to the sky.
"Perhaps, but it just makes you wonder." Charles said before the sound of waves overtook the silence.

Charles threw his chain at Fire as he ran in circles. "Hold still!" He yelled as Fire vaulted over his chain whip.
"You gotta be on your feet Charlie!" He said hurling a fireball at the demon. The ball of fire smacked the Rider in his face as he reared back from the attack. Charles shook his head before seeing a fist collide with his jaw.
"Ah!" He yelped as he flew back, slamming into a wall. His skin regrew as Charles shook his head from the faze.
"You did good son, you just need to work on your defensive stance." David said helping him up. "Whatever Talon did, made you better than before David." Angela said walking in with 76.
"What makes you say that?" David asked with a grin. Charles sighed before cracking his knuckles. Angela had a holo tablet as she took David's biometrics and his bloodwork.
"They were trying to duplicate your powers Rider." Angela said looking at Charles. "Hmmm, I can see with Fire. But what about the other, Snow?" The Rider asked.
"My guess is she's like you David. But she'll control something to counteract with Fire. Hence, Snow and Fire." 76 said crossing his arms.
"Perhaps, but we'll need to know more." Angela said. She turned and left as Jack walked up to David and Charles.
"It's good to see you again, David." Jack said patting him on the shoulder. "You too Jack." David said with a smile. Charles stared at 76 with a shocked expression.
"What, you didn't know this was Morrison?" David asked as 76 removed his mask to show the aged face of the former Strike Commander known as John 'Jack' Morrison.
"But, that day. I thought you died, along with Gabriel." Charles said. Jack sighed before putting on a smile.
"Well, not what you expected. Was it?" He asked. Charles stared into his old commanders eyes as tears prickled the corners.
"Don't tell anyone, you two are the only ones. Please." He pleaded putting on his mask. Charles and David nodded as the old soldier made his exit.
"That's enough training for today son, get some rest. I know I'll need it." David said with a smile as he made his exit.
Charles left the training room and retreated back to his room to see Angela change into her pajamas. He muttered a good night as he stripped off his clothes and placed nightclothes on. He climbed into bed as Angela laid down next to him.
"Good night liebes." She said kissing his forehead. "Night Angi." Charles yawned as he wrapped his arms around her. Angela watched he slept peacefully, no horrific dreams making him squirm. Just him happily snoozing with Angela holding him. She turned the light off as she repositioned herself to snuggle in close to him.
"May you have sweet dreams my love." She whispered as he mumbled lightly.
