"Never let him back in, mom," I told her. I had to wait until she came home, which was pretty late. Lucifer had left me when I asked him to. I was back to being scared by him. The Devil? I was right!
"Let who in, honey?" Nope, she was messing with me. She knows who I'm on about, doesn't she? Please tell me she does.
"T-that man," I said, sounding unsure. Maybe because I was unsure. "He came when you were leaving, probably."
"I never let any man in here, honey. Especially when you're asleep upstairs." As much as I hated where my mom took me and how she treats me sometimes, I loved her. She always looked out for me.
But how on earth did he get in our house, let alone my room?
