"He actually said something?" My mom squealed and took Damon from me, hugging him and kissing him all over. "Well done, little guy! I'm so proud of you."
"Mom," I laugh, "don't suffocate him."
"I'm sorry! I'm just so happy. He's growing so quick. Can he walk yet?" Oh, no. Lucifer all over again.
"Oh stop, you're just like Lucifer. But actually, when he comes home we're gonna try and get him to walk."
"Oh, that's wonderful! You hear that, little guy, you're gonna learn to walk!" Damon made a lot of gurgling sounds and happy squeals. It made my heart swell with happiness.
My little boy. He really is growing up so fast.
