"I thought you and Johnny would hit it off but he said you bailed on him!" I frowned. I did quite like Johnny but when Lucifer turned up, it just reminded me that Johnny wasn't Lucifer.

"I'm sorry, Sara. Maybe I'm just not ready to date... Well, or the fact that someone has already claimed me as theirs," I mutter, looking down at my feet.
"You what? You little minx!" Why does she keep calling me a little minx? "Is it that gorgeous guy?"
"Yes," I mumble.
"Damn, you scored a fine man," she winked. "Well, why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't have set you up on those dates!"
I stayed silent for a few minutes. "Because I wasn't sure how I felt about him, okay?"
