"It's been two weeks, don't you think you should at least contact him?" Sara asked me. I shook my head. "Why not? You're pregnant for heavens sake! You're carrying his baby. If you don't speak to him now, you're going to regret it and that baby is going to end up fatherless."
I took in her words. Of course she was right. I wanted to speak to him but I doubt he wanted to speak to me. This was probably his way of breaking up with me by saying we needed a 'break' which was actually a break-up.
"You don't understand, Sara. I just... Fine, I miss him, I'll admit that. But I don't think the feeling is mutual."
"And why do you think that?"
"Come on, he didn't even want the baby in the first place. It was pretty damn clear. So why would he miss me, huh?"
"He would miss you because he loves you."
"Yeah, right."
