"Mummy!" He was now forming fuller words and it made me so proud. Well, proud and sad. Proud that he was growing up but sad that he was growing up.
"Yes, Damon?"
"Mummy!" He held his arms up, indicating that he wanted me to hold him. I picked him up and kissed his cheek.
"You're so cute!"
"Ca-oot!" Well, almost there. So very close.
"Cute," I repeat. "Come on, you can do it. Say cute."
"Ca-oot!" I giggle and kiss him again.
"It's okay, we can try later. Now, is my little man hungry?" He started clapping his hands. He knew what the word hungry meant which made me laugh all the time. I don't know why. "Alright, lets feed this little belly of yours," I say, tickling his stomach. He giggled away as we went into the kitchen.
"Dada!"
"No, no, daddy isn't here yet." Damon pouted and I swear, I died on the spot. "Aw, you're still so adorable! You're gonna be such a heartbreaker when you're older, you know that?"
"Ca-oot!"
