"Wow, you're about sixteen weeks gone, actually. Congratulations." I did the math. Sixteen weeks was about four months. Damn, I really did not calculate that very well. "I must know, is it just you or do you have any family or partner that will help you through the pregnancy?"
"Um, I have my mom and my friends. I should be okay. Why? Is there something wrong?"
"No! Everything seems fine to me. It's just, we like to make sure that pregnant women are going to be cared for when we obviously can't be there for you guys. It's just so you and the baby get the care and help you need."
"Oh, okay. I should be fine. My mom is definitely going to be by my side."
"I'm glad to hear that! Well, it seems like you can go. We will need to schedule another appointment before you leave, alright?"
"Sure, sounds good to me."
