I stared at him with a blank look on my face. Did he really ask me to marry him? "Okay, that wasn't really romantic but can you at least answer me? Please? You're killing me here," he spoke.
"I– Lucifer... you're just asking because you think that's a good way to apologise to me and probably because I'm pregnant. I want you to ask me because you want to marry me. Not just because you think you have to."
"I do want to marry you. Believe me, I do. I've wanted to marry you the day I met you, the day I claimed you as my woman. I just wasn't sure when the right time was and obviously now wasn't the right time." I smiled. I liked hearing him basically claim me as his, but also hearing that he wanted to marry me the first day we met. It made my heart jump. "And I made a huge mistake with the whole pregnancy thing. I wasn't exactly welcome to the idea of having a baby. I always thought we would be married before any of this happened, but I do want this baby. I want our baby."
"Well, my answer is yes then."
"Yes? To what?"
"To marry you, idiot."
