We stood in front of each other, our hands together, reading our vows in front of everyone we knew and loved — family and friends.
Uttering the two words I had waited to say since I was young was a dream come true. Finally, I was getting married to someone I love and someone who loves me back.
We kissed and everyone cheered. While everyone cheered, I cried. I sobbed. Thankfully I was wearing waterproof makeup. "Don't cry," he whispered into my ear as we hugged, "it's okay."
"It's my hormones, I'm sorry." But it wasn't just that. I was overwhelmed with happiness and couldn't believe that I was getting married and having a baby. I would never have exactly imagined this day, but here it was.
