"Congrats! I'm so happy for you," my mom exclaimed, engulfing me into a hug. "Why aren't you so happy? Is everything okay?"
"No, not really."
"What's happened?"
"Lucifer," I whisper. I hear her sigh and I knew instantly that she understood. "We've been together a year, mom. I mean, I know we didn't plan this but I at least thought he would be somewhat happy."
"I'm sure he will come around. If he loves you, you know he will. But I must ask, are you happy?"
"Happy about the pregnancy?" Mom nodded her head. "Well, yeah. I am happy, actually. But can I stay with you, maybe?"
"Of course you can!"
