"It's not what it looks like," I say, making Lucifer laugh beside me.
"What are you on about? It clearly is!" My mom was pretty shocked, I think.
"Yeah, but mom, isn't that what everyone says? In movies and books?" This made my mom laugh, as well as Lucifer.
"Aren't you just too cute," Lucifer whispers beside me, pinching my butt. Like, what the hell? "I should introduce myself. I am Lucifer."
"Her boyfriend, I'm assuming? Or what, friends with benefits?" Mom asked.
"Boyfriend," Lucifer confirms. My mom held up her hand, signalling for me to give her a high-five. I roll my eyes and high-five her.
"Well, you guys be safe when you're... Having fun."
"Thanks, mom."
