My best friend is Shawn Mendes.
That's right, you heard it here first!
The vine famous singer is my best friend. Well, one of them at least. He's a part of my friend group consisting of two others: Rose Simons and Jeremy Corbin. We are an odd group, an unlikely one at that. The only reason we are friends is because our houses are all in a row. We grew up with each other. If things were different, our paths may have never crossed.
You see, Jeremy is very popular amongst the girls and is the 'bad boy'; he smokes cigarettes outside our school and wears all black, very cliché. We know that he's just a real big softy, though, it's all an act.
Rose is beautiful. Her blonde hair is always in a braid and her lipgloss is always pink. She's the nicest person I know, despite not being the brightest. I don't know why people whisper about her at school. I would stand up for her if I were braver.
And then there is Shawn. Teen heartthrob. Every girl drools as he walks down the hall, but he's too humble to notice. He's genuine, and I hope the world of fame doesn't screw him over.
Then, there's me. Ellie Harper. Ignored, bullied, insignificant to those at school. And completely in love with her vine famous best friend.
But, that's not all of who I am.
