Ezra's P.O.V

The impossible became possible. Two rich people actually helped me. They didn't beat me, say horrible things, or laughed when I was hurt. They actually helped me. But, that didn't mean that I trusted them.

They could be acting nice to me right now and later be as cruel as Zeb and his pals. So I couldn't let my guard down for a second even if they made me feel special now. "The rain is still coming down pretty hard and it's getting dark," Kanan said looking out the window. I was sitting on the couch quietly minding my own business. At first, when they told me I could sit on the couch, I was shocked.

I giggled imagining the look on my face when they said I could. Hera came back down stairs from the refresher. "Alright, let's take the Ghost and bring you back home to your family," Hera said. I froze when Hera mentioned this and wondered what they would do with me if they found out my parents were dead. I shook my head no.

Hera seemed confused and asked, "Don't you want to go home? I'm sure your parents are worried." I turned my gaze to the ground and started to rub my fingers against my palm. "Come on kid," Kanan said, "we want you to get home safely and not get your parents mad at us cause they think we kidnapped you".

Hera grabbed something and urged me to the Ghost. Before I knew it, I was in the back of a huge moving transporter thing called the Ghost. Hera drove us through the streets and then we made it to the plaza. We passed through it and were in the poor section of the city. "Ezra, can you tell me where your house is?" Hera asked.

What place was I going to direct her in? I couldn't do it in front of the ally I was living. My old house was burn't down. Then an idea popped into my head and I started to point out directions. Hera followed and soon we were outside of a house that was close to my cellar. I got out of the Ghost and waved them goodbye.

I saw the Ghost disappear around the corner and I let out a breath I didn't know I held. I walked down the muddy street and into an ally where my cellar was. I entered my cellar and went to bed.

Kanan's P.O.V (I finally changed it to someone else's P.O.V!!)

When we turned the corner, I looked out the window to see Ezra not enter the house but go down an ally way. "Hera, can we turn around?" I asked. "Why love?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "I just saw Ezra go into an ally way and not the house we dropped him off at," I explained. Hera nodded and turned around finding the ally way easily. I opened the door and immediately found fresh footprints in on the muddy ground.

I followed the footprints to an old rusty cellar. I opened the door with a squeak coming from it and I poked my head inside the small room. Then my eyes laid on a pile of something in the corner of the room. It was a pile of pillows and blankets, laying on top of it was none other than the blue haired boy himself, Ezra. I couldn't believe it.

Did his parents make him live in this old cellar? Was he being abused? My train of thought was cut off when I heard coughing and then a groan. "Ezra?" I spoke softly not to spook the boy but I saw him jump a little then relax. I climbed into the cellar then walked towards Ezra and sat next to him.

"Why are you in a cellar?" I asked firstly. Ezra glared at me and looked away. "Ezra, what are you hiding?" I asked gently. I noticed him rubbing his fingers against his palm. I knew that when he does this he gets shy.

I turned Ezra's head to face me but he turned back. "Ezra please, I want to help you," I said worried. Suddenly he started to cough then gag and hold his stomach with one hand and his mouth with the other. My reflexes kicked in and I grabbed an empty bin that was to me. I handed it to him and he threw up in it. I felt his forehead and quickly took it away. His forehead felt like it was on fire. He was definitely sick, that's for sure.

He kept throwing up and I could see him crying a little bit. I rubbed his back to help him relax some. Once he was done losing his lunch, I subconsciously picked him up bridle style and carried him to the Ghost. His body shivered in my arms. I went outside and saw that the rain lightened so it wasn't pouring out.

Ezra fought back but my grip was to strong on him. "Ezra stop," I said sternly and he stopped. I could tell he was scared through those feverish eyes.

I opened the back door to the Ghost and got both of us into the vehicle. Hera turned herself in her seat and immediately was worried for the boy. "I'll explain everything later, but right now we need to get back to the house," I said urgently. Hera nodded her head and we drove off back to the house. 'Don't worry Ezra, you're going to be ok,' I said in my head. I brushed my fingers through his hair as I watched his unconscious figure.
