Another day still the same. I'm walking down the halls of the school slowly, thinking if I should go talk to Blake. I have to know why he said that I thought he was different. Curiosity is killing me! I want to know! After awhile of thinking I decided to talk to him. Right now.. Okay maybe later ....how about after school? I thought to myself.
As the classes pass by while the clock ticked as I tapped my pencil on the wooden table placed in front of me, staring at the clock hanging up the wall while the teacher is talking but it's like everything is silent and the only sound that I'm hearing is the sound of the clock ticking as I count the minutes for the day to end. Ten minutes. 5 minutes. 1 minute. 30 seconds. That's when I came back to reality when the ringing of the bell rang through my ears. I picked my stuff and ran out of class. Rushing outside hoping that he didn't leave. "Blake!" I yelled as I placed my foot on the wet green grass. He slowly turned around with a confused look. That moment I felt confident. I never thought that I'd be able to actually ever talk to them. Or anyone. He stared right at me as I stood in my spot unsure of what I should say. I just stood there holding my books as he walked towards me. He held my wrist firmly and pulled me behind the school where we were out of sight. "Are you crazy!" He said letting go of my wrist. "No" I said confidently. "Stay away from us!" He said through clenched teeth. "I need answers." I said fighting back. He stared at me and I started asking my questions."why would you be nice a minute and then tell me to stay away when apparently you're the one that came to me!" I fought back. I'm not some kind of toy that you can play with and then leave. "It's complicated." He said. He then turned around and started walking away. "I'm sure I can keep up." I said back. "Look do me a favour and stay away from me and my friends." He said as he turned around and looked me straight in the eye. "I thought you were different." I said walking towards him. "I am not like the other guys." He said through clenched teeth. At that moment frustration ran its way through my body. "Oh really! Your not like them well guess what you are! You're exactly like them. And you know what you act the same way. I just wanted to atleast get to know someone in the school. I never thought it would be you. The one person that hates me. I can't believe that you think that you-" I started saying as fast as I can but something surprising cut me off. He kissed me. I stopped talking and just stood there frozen with my mouth widely open. "Are you done?" He asked. "No" I said back still shocked. He crossed his arms under his chest and stood there waiting for me to say what I wanted to say. "I actually started to have feelings for you." I said as I realized that I wanted to talk to him to tell him this and not about how he treats me. "You did?" He asked confused. "Yeah" I said in a low tone. "Well get over it". He shocked me with his words. "You just kissed me I thought you felt the same?" I said confused. "I do" he said. "Well then what's the issue?" I asked still confused about his reaction. "Sometimes we can't have what we want." He said. He paused. "Just stay away." He said. "Wait." I demanded he stopped. "Why can't we be?" I asked. "It won't work out so let it go. Forget it." He demanded. He then walked away and left me standing there with my thoughts that kept haunting me. I didn't realize that I was crying until I felt my tear drop on my hand. I walked back home that day as it rained. But I didn't care. I reached my door way. But then I turned away and decided to walk to the forest that was a few blocks away to relax my thoughts. I didn't care that it was raining or that I was freezing. I was still confused. Instead of having my questions answered, I got more questions. I walked in the forest as my boots hit the wet ground. I felt the wind hitting my wet, frozen body as I sat on a wet rock and Laid there for awhile. Until the rain stopped. I realized that when I felt the sun bring its way up to my cold skin and warm it up. I opened my eyes and saw a rainbow right above my head. I got up and started walking deeper down in the forest. Thinking.right when I heard a gun shoot. I froze in my spot and started walking faster as I thought it was only my imagination. I then heard someone scream. It sounded like a man. I then turned the opposite direction and started walking away fast as I was terrified. Someone then held me from the back and placed their hand over my mouth before I was even able to scream. I started kicking and wiggling. I then heard "it's okay it's me calm down." I then stopped as I recognized the voice. Blake. He then dragged me away to a tree and then suddenly all of his friends got out accompanied by a grown man. Looked like he was in his mid forties. "Calm down" he said as I breathed heavily. "We are sorry if we scared you" the man said. I just nodded. "We were just practicing shooting guns" he continued as I nodded. "The scream you heard was one of the guys that accidentally got injured." He said. I nodded...again.
