Chapter 14: capsized

Last night was unforgettable, it was beautiful. The way he actually cared and did that just so I would forgive him was amazing. I got dressed and ready to school. I wore some dark black jeans and a white sweater over it. I put my hair in a high pony tail and left the house. I made my way to school and to my locker. I had to hand in the project that I did. We walked to biology class when the bell rang and handed in the projects. Grayson walked in winking at me. I blushed which gave him a satisfying look and placed a smirk on his face. I had one question going through my mind. Can I trust him?
He sat beside me while we both attended class together.

"Earth to Charlie." I heard Grayson say.

"What? What happened?" I asked seeing everyone leaving.

"Class is over. Stop day dreaming about me."

"I was not daydreaming about you!" I glared.

"Take a chill pill."

"Haha very funny" I said sarcastically.

"See ya later." He said and left.

I finally finished all my classes and was ready to go home. I stepped out of the schools doors and started walking.

"Hey" I saw Grayson say as he walked beside me.

"Hi" I said. He pulled me closer to him.

"Look Grayson." I said as I refused to be close him.

"What's wrong?" He said.

"I'm not like one of them girls that you can just play around with."

"I'd never do that"

"Stop lying Grayson I know you"

"I really like you Charlie. I wouldn't ever do that to you"

"Come on Grayson, we all know that's not true."

"Look" he said as pulled me in a tight hug.

"Don't you ever think that way" he said.

I looked at his beautiful eyes as he spoke and for some reason I believed him. I'm not sure why but I just liked his warm hug and the way he is convincing me.

I hugged him. We walked away as he walked me home.

"Thanks Grayson." I said closing the door.

He waved and walked away.

~5 months later~

Grayson and I have been together for 3 months now and I keep on falling in love with him more and more each day.
I haven't heard from Blake. Not even a word. I don't think I'll forget him. Ever. He was my first actual love. But that ended fast. The story between me and Blake ended fast. It wasn't a real story to me. It was more like a fantasy or a dream. I'm not even sure if it actually happened. Where ever he is.. I hope he's happy and okay. Grayson was knocking on my door as I was putting on my black high heels. We were going on a date but I don't know where. I opened the door to see Grayson in a suit and a white rose in his hands.

"Wow" he said looking at me.

"I could say the same to you." He smirked.

"Ready to go?"

"Yeah" he handed me the flower as I smiled and walked me to his black car.

"Where are we going." I asked.

"It's a surprise." He said.

I was wearing a red chiffon short dress that had lace sleeves. My hair was straightened and put in a perfect high pony tail. I had very little make up on to keep my natural look.

After an hour of driving we finally reached a stop. I looked at the time , it was 8:27 pm. It was really dark , but the stars made it all lighter and beautiful.

"Where are we?" I asked. We were in the middle of know where.

"Come on follow me!" He said laughing. He opened the door and helped me out. He looked at my heels and then asked.

"Can you run in heels?"

"I'll try why?"

Right when I said that he picked me up bridal style and started running. We were both laughing. He then let me down to reveal a hidden beach. I took of my heels and he took of his shoes and jacket. He held my hand and started running again. This time he was heading towards the water. I started screaming and laughing in excitement. As he pulled me to the water. My feet hit the water as we kept on running to the middle of the ocean. We stopped when the water reached my hips. He looked at my wet hair and dress and I looked at his. He smiled moving away the strands of hair that were on my face . He then pulled me into a kiss. We were laughing and jumping for hours. It was a night to remember. It was beautiful. We were still in the water when he came and picked me up as I tangled my legs around his waist. As he spun we were kissing and laughing. I pulled my head to the back as my hair kept a flying around. He let me down as my feet connect with the water again. Finally we picked out stuff up and went to the car. He brought out two towels from the trunk of his car. He put it on the passenger seat and his seat. We both say on the towels as we drove off.
