私の愛 - (Tatsu Yamashiro x fem!reader)

( A/N: I made the reader female because I'm rushing. The translations are be in Italics. That title is My Love in Japanese.

This takes place two years after events in the Suicide Squad movie. Tatsu and the Reader have been dating for a year and a half. (Y/N) is waiting for Tatsu in a lounge area in the Task Force x building Waller built for the squad.

I don't know Japanese and I used google translate, so something's may be wrong. Don't hate me, hate google.

(Y/N) nervously bit her bottom lip as she stares at the doorway, her chest feeling tight and the palms of her hands were starting to feel clammy. (Y/N) wasn't ready. Actually (Y/N) was ready, having been preparing for this for two months, but now that it was time to do it, (Y/N) wasn't ready.

For the past year and half (Y/N) has been learning Japanese from Katana, so (Y/N) could talk to Tatsu in her native language, but as the missions got more dangerous, (Y/N) changed her mind.

(Y/N) learned a lot from Katana, enough to hold a good conversation, but (Y/N) wanted to learn something in particular to surprise Tatsu. With the help of Rick and an online Japanese class, (Y/N) finally learn what she's wanted to say.

(Y/N) learned the three words that she has wanted to say to Tatsu for a while now. Three words that she wanted to say before it was too late, before one day they leave for a mission they don't return from. Three words that (Y/N) meant with her whole heart.

わたしは、あなたを愛しています。( I love you.)

(Y/N) had a whole screech planned in her head, but that is the one thing (Y/N) made sure she know how to say correctly. It is the most important part of the whole screech.

(Y/N) was bounced her knee as she thought of all the ways this could go wrong, becoming more and more worried as each scenario gets worse and worse. (Y/N) could end up saying " I hate you" instead of " I love you", she could spit in Katana's face as she talks, or something even worse could happen.

Something that could change Tatsu and (Y/N) relationship forever. Something that could shatter (Y/N)'s heart into a million pieces. Something that could kill (Y/N) soul. Tatsu could reject (Y/N).

Tatsu could reject (Y/N)'s love, she could not feel the same and turn her down right on the spot. Tatsu could see her as just another heartless criminal, who only steals and kills people. A criminal that doesn't deserve love.

(Y/N) grips the arm of her chair tightly as she begins to hyperventilate, her anxiety raising making her chest feel even tighter. (Y/N) felt like she is going to puke. She was having second thoughts.

'This is a bad idea. I can't do this. Maybe I can go hide in my room before Tatsu finds me?' (Y/N) thinks to herself, standing up from her chair, but freezes when Tatsu walks in.

(Y/N)'s heart pounds in her chest when Tatsu and her make eye contact, a small smile makes its way to Tatsu's lips as she walks over to the frozen (Y/N).

"こんにちは美しい、リックはあなたが私を見たいと言いましたか？" ( Hello Beautiful, Rick said you wanted to see me?)

(Y/N) snaps out of it, staring at Tatsu as she try to translate what Tatsu had said and how to respond. (Y/N) was usually faster at it, but with all her anxiety, (Y/N)'s brain was moving a little slow.
