"Time waits for no one." I looked at this quote for hours now. It was written boldly from our whiteboard after used as a backdrop for our simple skit. It was inspired from the movie, The girl who leapt through time. And I, as the script writer, was so engrossed with the movie. That's why I made this successful skit happen.

But nevertheless, it wasn't enough. I need to do more. I need to improve. Everyone expects high from me. So, I write till I bleed words out from no where. And sometimes, literally.

"Oh, Mona. The show's done. We'll celebrate! It's Gracia's treat!" Ate Kat said with delight. My attention turned to her. Why do we need to celebrate if there isn't a thing to celebrate for?. I didn't spoke a word and just led through.

Ate Kat shrugged it off while we leave the stage. She stayed smiling.

I was wondering, how can people be so glad about things while suffering problems of their own? Every time I see my friends, they always leave with a smile on their faces. I just wiped off that thought.

At MaryLaine's Café.

"Cheers! And congrats to us guys. We did a great job. But! This wouldn't be possible without the help of our great script writer, Mona." Junica excitedly said. They clapped after saying that. And I gave a shy smile.

I was an introvert, alright. But that was before I met these guys.

And I never knew, my life would turn out to be good.

And bad at the same time.

"Ate! Let's go. The van's waiting for you!" My sister rants me for about 10 minutes already. And the time she saw me, I just made a silly face to pissed her off more.

We're heading to our old town, far from civilization. It was our routine for years. But, something will be new from this trip. They told me we'll tour around town.

'Like I never saw that place before. Pssh.' I made a mental sarcastic conversation.

While heading of to the car, my phone rang. Bes was calling me.

"Hello, bes."

(Bes! I heard you'll be going out of town. My souvenir! Don't forget!) She said with excitement like I'm going to a far away land and never come back.

"Duh, bes. Souvenirs aren't their things."

(Even though! Buy me some ok. And be careful, always.)

"Sure. I'll try. Bye."

(Bye)

Our conversation ended. And my journey began.

"Apo! Welcome back." My lola smiled at me. I smiled back. We saw each other last year but it felt like ages because of time and priorities. You'll miss the fun of being a granddaughter.

"Ma, talk some sense to Mona. Aba, recently, she's passive and downhearted." My Mom told Grandma about my passive acts. It was natural of me. And that was an over reaction of her.

"Hay nako. Let her be. She's at that stage of life. Apo, come here. I'll be the one touring you around."

Even if I'm that tired from our trip, I don't want Lola to be disappointed, so I said I'll go.
