You sighed looking down at the empty street. It was past 2am and you were trying to get your last few bucks of the night. You hated what you had to do, but at the end of the day it put food on the table.
You held your jacket closer to your body, feeling the cold air pass by. Its too damn cold for this you thought to yourself. For a second you thought about going back to your hotel room, calling it a night. You sighed, about to turn around until you were stopped by a voice.
"Hey wait....!"
You slowly turned to see who the voice belonged to. You were very surprised by what you saw. It wasn't one of those older creepy looking guys who looked like they were on some kinda drugs. It was far, far different than that. You slowly walked up to the dark vehicle, being slightly cautions of the woman in the car. Yes. It was a girl. It wasn't your first time being with a girl actually, it was just rare that they would come along in this way.
"Uhm...how long do you want?" You asked in a shyly. The girl looked at you oddly, taken back at your words. It took awhile before she answered you.
"Just a few hours...not long." You were skeptical at what was going on. It didn't even seem like she wanted what you were there to offer. Snapping out of your thoughts, you finally stepped into the car.
The two of you drove for quite a few minutes. You weren't even sure of what to do with yourself with this girl. You turned to the side, taking in her features. She was stunning. She also looked kind of familiar.
Once the car came to a stop, the two of you got out and walked into an apartment building. It wasn't like any old apartment, it was huge...
You stood in the middle in the living room, taking in your surroundings. Now you were definitely curious to who this girl was...
Your thoughts were once again interrupted.
"Here..." she opened up your hand, placing a glass of water in it.
You looked down at the glass, feeling awkward at that moment. You just wanted to get the job done and move on with your life.
"Not to be rude or anything, but can we just do this so I can leave. Please?" You asked. She looked up at you, putting her own glass down.
"I'm not here to do that with you. I just wanted to talk..."Now you wanted to be out of this completely. What kind of person pulls over in the middle of the night just to talk to some stranger?
"I saw you and...I know what you do and all, but..." her sentence faded as she came closer towards you. You took a step back.
"I can tell that you hate what you do. So why do you do it? I don't understand." She said suddenly.
This time you were taken back. Not even sure how to answer the question. You sighed reaching around her towards the door. She instantly grabbed your wrist, pulling you back.
"Stop....just please listen. What your doing is awful...I just want yo help. Please?" You looked directly into her eyes as she spoke. She meant it.
You finally gave in continuing to let her speak. Which went on for what seemed like hours, but you didn't mind. The fact that some random stranger could care so much amazed you. It was as if you actually mattered and you weren't just some toy people liked to play with.
From that day on you knew you would never step foot on those streets again. And it was all because of her. Ashley.
I feel like my endings get worse and worse but thank you so very much for the reads and votes! Please leave any ideas in the comments as well! -Angela
