Liam was surprised to wake up with Chris still in his room. He was sitting where Harry always stood. Liam shook his head. He needed to stop thinking about this.

"You don't snore too much," Chris said. "In case that was a worry of yours." He looked up from the book Liam had given him the night before. "I really should go home. Just I couldn't jump roofs again."

"Will your parents get mad?" Liam didn't mean to ask. But after the arguing he heard, he was curious. Sometimes Harry's family argued. Liam wasn't sure what they argued about. But he had heard yelling.

"I'll tell them I went on a morning run. I'll be fine." Chris got up and looked between Liam and the book.

"Take it," Liam said. "Bring it back when you're done. I can give you another one after. If you'd like."

Chris smiled and told Liam he would like that before leaving. There was no goodbye. There was no "help me out of your house". He just left.

Moments after Chris left, Niall appeared.

"Did he just leave your bedroom?" Niall asked, pointing down the hall.

"Oh my god. Niall seriously. Yes. But not like that. God can you stop smiling like that?" But even Liam was beginning to blush. "I'm pretty sure he watched me sleep." Harry had done that too. On the last night they had together, Harry had to have watched Liam sleep.

"Why was he over?" Niall sat on Liam's bed.

"I don't know. We just kind of talked." Liam shrugged. "Hey did he have a bandage on his arm yesterday?"

"Chris? How am I supposed to know? You saw him longer than I did."

Liam was unsure of what to say. He had a feeling. He didn't like his feeling.
