There was still no sovereign for House Demure and Professor Gulliver refused to be the stand in King till one was found. He said something about it being cheating to have an established Professor stand in during the crown war. But obviously there were countless meetings and arguments had by both the Lord and Ladies and the maids and servants over who should be the new King or Queen. Most were in favour for a King as it was something that everyone was used to. House Demure never works well with change especially if it meant a woman was to take on the title of Sovereign after a male dominated reign for over sixty years.

Each day the detective would call in someone else to be questioned about the King's death. Each day it got closer to the crown with no leader of the family. Fingers were pointed but still no answers. The red numbers bleeding into everyone's heads as they thought about who could take the throne. Many Lords had tried but no one was picked by the royal family. They swore they would save Demure but none was perfect. The Detective and Professor Gulliver stood huddled in the corner of the room in a heated conversation as the rest of House Demure awaited what was to happen during the crown war. Were they to forfeit and end up with a debt to pay like some houses had before them. Occasionally they looked to the servants and then to the Lords and Ladies of the family. After what felt like hours there was finally silence and they both walked over to the family.

"We have come to the conclusion about house Demure." Professor Gulliver said

"With the ongoing investigation into the King's untimely death still looms this House needs a royal for the crown war while the investigation Is still on." the detective says

"So , we have chosen Lord Francis. We know that it is not ideal and he did break the rules but it would make the most sense since he was the next inline and having one of his mistresses would not be in question." Professor Gulliver says and the servants sigh

"At least we have a sovereign for now but what happens to Lady Niomi they aren't married it would be obvious." Miss Florence asks

"Lady Niomi has been married off to the Elise family in a quick change in foreign relations of the families." Professor Gulliver answers simply and everyone nods happily

"We can do this. To house Demure." Shouted Mr Riley

"House Demure. Here we come to the crown wars!" Everyone erupted into cheers
