He removed his hand from her lips and they watched as the cannons blared and the fireworks covered the sky. He took her hands in his own. Quickly letting go as he realised his actions towards her,
"To another three years Miss Teller." Lord Francis says
"But you still haven't answered my question who is going to be King after you step down?" Victoria asks for the third time
"How about you rephrase that question Victoria." Lord Francis says and she stays puzzled
"I don't know what you mean Francis." Victoria says
"Let me rephrase it for you and maybe you will understand what I am trying to say." Lord Francis states and she nods
" Who is going to be Queen?." Francis says and Victoria still doesn't understand
"One of your mistresses?." Victoria asks and he shakes his head
"How about you Miss Victoria Alexandria Teller." Francis says and she stares at him in shock
"I cannot be Queen." Victoria asks
"Of course you can. Now, Will you be my Queen?" he asks again and she freezes
"You want me as your Queen?" Victoria asks again still unsure if it was the truth
" Yes I do Miss Teller I do." Francis asks
"Don't get sick of me just yet then." Victoria says and smiles as the fireworks erupt in red and gold again.
Her dream was coming true. Her life felt like it was getting back on track. Gulliver was right Francis did care for her more than he would wish to allow. She now felt like her life could start over away from the serving quarters. Away from what hurt her. Away from that room and into the empty ladies room . Where all the dresses still lay untouched since she steamed them. The bed lay made for now she thought.
